"Urahara Kisuke?!" Hinamori Momo whispered, her pupils constricting.

After a detailed explanation, Hinamori Momo finally understood her current situation.

She had fought a Hollow, transferred her Shinigami powers to a human boy, and then lost consciousness due to her severe injuries and lack of spiritual pressure.

This man, who claimed to be Urahara Kisuke, had saved her and placed her soul in a Gigai.

"In short, that's how it happened," Urahara Kisuke said, his face wearing the sly smile of a seasoned veteran World of the Living businessman.

"Treatment, Gigai, and soul stabilization. The total cost is 100,000 Ryō!"

Seireitei. First Division Captain's Office.

"Thanks to Captain Kurotsuchi Mayuri's spiritual pressure detectors, the Hollow disturbances in the World of the Living have stabilized temporarily," Kyōraku Callum reported calmly.

"However, for safety's sake, further observation is recommended."

Yamamoto-Genryūsai Shigekuni's aged voice echoed through the office. "I understand. Fourth Division Vice-Captain Kyōraku Callum, your mission is complete. Vice-Captain Shiba Kaien of the Thirteenth Division will take over observation duties."

Seireitei. Fourth Division Barracks.

Back in the Fourth Division, Kyōraku Callum's expression was relaxed.

"Hmm?" He noticed something amiss. "As a well-liked Vice-Captain, I should be receiving a warm welcome. But why is no one here to greet me? What's going on?"

As he ventured deeper into the barracks, he finally recalled the day's event.

"The monthly flower arrangement contest!" Kyōraku Callum's eyes lit up. "The winner is exempt from a month's work. Though Hana-san always wins…"

Shinigami have long lifespans, but that doesn't mean they can work endlessly like machines. Appropriate relaxation is essential.

For example, the Fourth Division's monthly flower arrangement contest, the Sixth Division's noble gatherings, the Eighth Division's sake tasting, and the Eleventh Division's sparring matches… well, the last one doesn't really count.

The Eleventh Division is more like an unstoppable fighting machine. In their long lives, death in battle is often considered the best end for an Eleventh Division member.

"To think that one clumsy attempt would invalidate my artistic talent," Kyōraku Callum muttered.

Kyōraku Callum reached Training Ground #2, where most of the Fourth Division's spiritual pressure was concentrated.

The open-air arena was semi-enclosed by spectator seating, with a spacious central area. Unlike other competitions, the atmosphere wasn't boisterous; the Shinigami were intently watching the contestants. Each contestant was creating their floral art.

Kyōraku Callum concealed his spiritual pressure, using Bakudō #26, Kyokkō, to hide his presence. He was curious about the flower arrangement competition and wanted to prove his artistic talent.

After locating Unohana Retsu, Kyōraku Callum chose a secluded spot. He swiftly knocked an unsuspecting Shinigami unconscious and commandeered their display area to begin his own artistic creation.

"I need to think about the theme," Kyōraku Callum mused, frowning at the remaining flowers.

"This Shinigami has quite the creative mind! Using gentian as the theme to praise Hana-san's qualities… what a flatterer!"

Kyōraku Callum was astonished. He hadn't realized the Fourth Division had such talent. He'd inadvertently eliminated a prodigy.

"Too bad, just bad luck," he sighed, shaking his head. "Let's try the flower arrangement techniques I learned in the World of the Living."

He interlocked his fingers, extending his arms.

"They have quite a variety of flowers here," Kyōraku Callum muttered, officially starting his creation.

During his decade in the World of the Living, he hadn't just spent his time petting cats and Hollows. He'd learned many useful skills, purely out of boredom.

Tōzen training could only be done once a day, leaving him with plenty of free time. As for Hollow-related missions, they were usually resolved in a matter of minutes.

The arena remained silent, until a spectator spotted a familiar figure in a secluded corner. A murmur, like a pebble dropped into a still lake, spread through the crowd.

Unohana Retsu, focused on her creation, frowned slightly at the noise. The temperature in the arena seemed to drop several degrees. Everyone fell silent.

Time ticked by, and the flower arrangement contest neared its end. A clear bell rang from the platform.

"Time's up!" The timekeeper's voice, amplified by Kidō, echoed through the arena. The contestants stopped. Kyōraku Callum finally relaxed his furrowed brow.

"I underestimated the difficulty of this theme," he muttered.
