There were no problems reaching the great forest. With Eris held tightly in my arms and moving faster than the speed of sound, we were able to reach the great forest in just half an hour.
The only problem would be locating the Cardinal's army...
No, not really. I'm simply too lazy to actively search for them.
So I simply used my Superd Eye ability and quickly advanced through the forest.
I wanted to get to Gyes and Gustav first to warn them of what was happening before going on the offensive. And if they wanted, I could even help them wage war against Millis. After all, I'd just have to save Zenith's family and that's it.
In the distance, I could make out Doldia Village, but I also couldn't help but frown, as the army was only about ten kilometers away, to my great surprise.
'Did they use teleportation circles? It's the safest bet. Not even with magic could they move that fast...' I muttered in my mind.
And using my Superd eye, I could count at least ten thousand soldiers.
Fortunately, my Aunt Therese wasn't among them.
"Rudeus!"
"I know, hold on, I'll speed up," I said, interrupting her. She noticed the enormous army, and worry quickly took hold of her.
So I doubled my speed, reaching the Doldia village in just seconds.
Amidst the trees, I could see hundreds of Doldia with swords in hand. When they looked at me, they turned pale. Some fell to their knees, and others simply stared at me in terror.
"No...of all the humans...Millis had to send this one," I heard one of the Doldia warriors mutter, his face pure with agony, and I grimaced.
"I'm not here on Millis's side. Tell Gustav that Rudeus has arrived!" I declared.
The Doldia around me paled again, but several of them ran off toward Gustav's residence.
A little less than a minute later, Gustav and Gyes came running toward me, both with aggravated expressions.
"Rudeus... I suppose you're not here to visit us, right?" Gustav asked with a smirk.
"You could say that. I barely found out what happened and came running... whoever ordered this is already dead," I told them, and I could see that they both looked at me with wide eyes. Besides, neither of them dared to think how that someone died.
"Right now, our priority is to wipe out that army," I told them with a smile. "You're lucky to have someone as powerful as me on your side!" I continued, and I could see Gyes growl slightly before Gustav smacked him in the back of the head.
"I'm sorry about that, Rudeus... but we'd really like you to lend us your strength now, please... we're in a rather precarious state right now," Gustav shrugged, the sword in his hand trembling from the strength of his grip and sweat running down his forehead.
"Don't worry, we're family after all," I said.
At the word "family," I could see Gyes tense slightly, but Gustav scolded him again.
"When this is all over, I'll come back and marry Rinia and Pursena," I told them firmly. "It's a promise."
With these words, I rose back into the air and looked into the distance.
Eris said nothing. Even though she's more powerful than average, she still can't hold her own against more than a hundred people. That will soon be resolved.
I pushed those thoughts out of my head and soared out of the village, heading toward the human army.
Perhaps because I'm now a pure-blooded Dragonfolk, the human race—except for the women—no longer feels so familiar to me.
So this would be much easier for me than it's ever been.
After all, I'm the second-ranking powerhouse in the world, and the most powerful being in this world.
It was time to make clear what I can do.
I immediately canceled the gravity magic holding me up, and two white angel wings grew on my back. My hair turned white, scales appeared around my cheeks, and my eyes turned golden, like a lizard's.
This was my true form now. Although, given my size, I looked somewhat silly. It was only a matter of time before I became an Orsted 2, literally. ...
On the battlefield, ten thousand soldiers advanced steadily through the dense forests of Millis, all silent to the beat of the war drums and their general's shouts of encouragement.
All with one goal in mind.
"Eliminate the demons of Millis." And that would begin by exterminating the Dedoldia first.
Although there were still many doubts, the most important was that the three holy knights and all the king- and emperor-level mages remained in the capital to "protect it in case of invasion," which weakened the army's offensive power. But with the number of active troops, these doubts were quickly put aside.
The atmosphere in the army was festive, In less than a day, the entire army had been able to travel a distance that would normally take months, let alone such a large group of people.
Now with the element of surprise on their side, Millis's army was one hundred percent confident that they could destroy the demons, also known as demi-humans.
"First! The Doldia! Then the dwarves! Then the elves, and finally, the demon continent! With this army blessed by Lord Millis himself, it's one hundred percent certain that we'll get rid of the demi-human scum once and for all!" The cardinal's words remained firmly in the minds of the soldiers and the general himself, who advanced on horseback, almost within sight of the Doldia village a couple of kilometers away.
So a smile couldn't help but form on his face.
"With this... with this, I'll finally be able to prove my worth to Lord Millis!" the general couldn't help but think, a sadistic smile on his face.
"Come on, people of Millis! The enemy is ahead! Let's burn the Doldia to ashes and return victorious to Millis!" His words managed to raise the morale of the army, which began to take up battle positions upon seeing the Doldia village close to them.
But the festive atmosphere quickly disappeared when an oppressive aura took over the entire army.
"Nnngh! What is this?" The general shouted with his teeth clenched and sweat falling from his forehead.
Immediately the previously cloudy and clear sky began to cloud over at an unprecedented speed.
Black clouds gathered and electricity formed over them.
The general's pupils contracted, the mages paled at the amount of mana accumulated in one place.
And it all happened in a thousandth of a second.
"Take cover!!!" The general barely managed to shout and immediately the electricity fell on them.
It wasn't lightning or anything like that.
It was a pillar of Light with enormous destructive power.
That single attack was enough to wipe out 1,000 soldiers and injure hundreds more.
But it didn't end there, the shock wave lifted debris, trees and electricity spread through the air itself.
The village of Doldia, no less than three kilometers away, was able to witness all this, but for them nothing reached them but a light breeze accompanied by a slight chill.
"Shit! Enemy attack...take positions!!" The general shouted as he tried to stand up without success.
His body, numbed by the electricity, wouldn't go away until later, and the other soldiers weren't any better.
"careful!"
"it's in the Sky!"
"He has wings!"
"He's coming towards us, be careful!"
The screams of the soldiers could barely be heard when in the middle of the army a figure landed at a terrifying speed.
He had wings and soul-piercing eyes, as well as an aura so oppressive it took your breath away.
The soldiers who barely survived the pillar of light looked at the figure in dread, like a god fallen from the sky just to punish them.
"...come on, who'll be the first?" The winged figure muttered in a childish voice for his condition, although he was small in stature that didn't make him any less terrifying but even more threatening.
These words made the surrounding army abandon all desire to fight and start fleeing for their lives.
"Nah, it won't be that easy!" The winged man shouted and used a force or magic never used before.
Everything around him was drawn to him immediately.
Thus more than two thousand soldiers were trapped by this force with no possibility of escape.
Cries of despair filled the already bedraggled battlefield and he could only stare at the winged figure with a mixture of rage and horror.
"If you continue like this, killing you will be too easy, you make me feel sorry for you!" The winged figure said in a sadistic tone.
So a thousandth of a second later The more than two thousand soldiers trapped in its strange magic were frozen to the bone, drowning out their screams of pain and despair, leaving only statues with faces of terror.
The general's eyes widened as he looked at this scene and the author of this.
With just two attacks he had killed more than three thousand of his soldiers.
"a....aaaa!!" He wanted to shout and give orders to the soldiers but the words got stuck in his throat because of the two emotions that clashed strongly in his mind.
The remaining seven thousand soldiers began to run for their lives anywhere, most towards the village of Doldia.
'Fucking cowards!' The general tried to scream, but his aching body prevented him from doing so.
"What? You're already running away? I'm not done with you!" The winged figure said with a terrifying smile on his face.
The army had already scattered all over the forest, each and every one fleeing for their lives leaving only the most wounded and the general and the general in the battlefield.
'I will leave the weakest alive so that my smile will give them nightmares, and the strongest will be eliminated' Rudeus muttered in his mind as his wings touched the ground making him rise in less than a second.
"nnngh! Don't run away, bastard!!" The general managed to shout, but the winged man didn't even look at him.
"Help please!"
"He wants to kill us!"
"Let us pass!"
Hundreds of soldiers ran towards the Doldia village hoping for refuge but before they could even set foot there their heads left their bodies in seconds.
Again, around two thousand soldiers were killed by a single wind slash from Rudeus.
The other five thousand remaining soldiers had scattered through the forest running aimlessly.
Everyone had lost the desire to fight but Rudeus didn't care at all.
"After this there will be the concept of war crimes!" Rudeus roared through the air as more pillars of light charged into the sky.
*Kroooom!!!*
*Boooom!!*
*Krakaboooom!!!*
Pillars of light quickly began to fall throughout the forest causing a deafening risk and electric shocks.
The Dedoldia who were watching from a couple of kilometers away just froze in their places.
Each and every one with their tail between their legs and pale as they doubted deeply.
"Th-this is Rudeus's power?!" Gustav muttered almost breathlessly as he felt the electricity pass lightly through his body making him shudder.
Gyes at his side was not in better condition, he had never seen a scene like this, much less from a simple human.
His fists clenched until they turned white and his teeth ground together with the fear and admiration he felt in his chest.
"h-he's my son-in-law..." He could barely mumble as the earthquakes took him out of his thoughts.
Eris on the other hand was a completely different story.
A blush had crept onto her cheeks as her legs trembled and her panties became wet.
Rudeus's aura was completely imposing which had awakened something in Eris that not even she understood but she liked it.
So she squeezed her legs together while she bit her lips and thanked heaven.
Even she was sure that she couldn't hold back any longer and would fuck Rudeus that very night.
The mere thought made her panties wetter and her womb become fertile at that very moment.
...
"..." I walked among the corpses of the soldiers and the occasional soldier who was mortally wounded or had a leg, arm or face destroyed.
My DragonFolk form slowly faded away as my wings retracted into my back until they were no longer visible.
More than nine thousand soldiers were killed and many hundreds more mortally wounded or crippled for life.
The atmosphere was one of complete despair and terror towards the creature walking among them.
The general and a handful of soldiers lay in front of me.
Each and every one of them looking at me with anger in their eyes, everyone here doesn't know that they are alive only because I wanted them to be.
"damn...damn...." The general muttered with barely contained rage as he stared into my eyes.
I smirked and approached him causing the others to flinch.
"Well, what were you saying a while ago? That Saint Millis himself will bless you? That your soldiers will bring glory?" I muttered as I crouched down beside him, staring at him.
"...." The general didn't even look at me and as he looked at the ground I could see that he was shaking.
"damn demon... San Millis....won't let you get away with it!" The general He could barely speak before a stone bullet pierced his throat causing him to bleed to death instantly.
The other soldiers looked at me with palpable fear but I simply stood up and rose into the sky.
"I'll let you live, for now, spread the legend that they were defeated by Rudeus, the Magic God!"
"nnngh!!" The twenty soldiers started running in all directions before one by one they fell headless.
In the end I only let one go, who started running through the forest.
"Shit..." I muttered to myself and headed towards Doldia village quickly.
