In a world where people are often satisfied with small things, only a few individuals can distance themselves from the society and truly fulfill their dreams. One of those individuals is Argos, an ex-marine general who set out on an adventure to visit every country in the world. He wrote books about those adventures, and he instantly became popular. But during his adventure, he was able to discover some unusual islands that had not been discovered on the official map of the world. In his first books, he was passionate about those islands, often writing about what he saw on them and the unusual people that lived there and the artifacts that he found. He described them as totems with strange liquid inside, Argos said that he had drank liquids from one of the totems and that he instantly started feeling dizzy and passed out. People who read his books called him crazy and that no such things like that exist and that Argos was faking a lot about his adventures. That demotivated Argos, and he just stuck to writing about the countries that he visited and not the strange islands. There were some people that believed him and for them Argos left some hidden notes in his newer books. Those people are the individuals that weren't satisfied with society and wanted to find something that would truly fulfill their life, and one of those people was a 16-year-old named Alexey. He didn't look like someone who would enjoy books, but his brother made him read one of them, and he was instantly amazed. He read every book that Argos has ever written and noticed a strange pattern. When reading a 6th page of every book, if you only read the letters that correspond to prime numbers in their position within the word within the first sentence, you will get a hidden message. Some of those messages are:
THEY MERGED TOGETHER
TEN THOUSAND WILL BE ENOUGH
YOU MUST GO THERE
DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU
I LEFT ALL OF MY TREASURE THERE
THERE IS NO ESCAPE
Alexey read more and found the coordinates where the island was supposed to be.
He realized that as a person who grew up in a mountain village in Serbia, he isn't going to get even close to the island that is located in the Pacific Ocean alone, so he called his brother and told him everything that he had learned.
His brother was skeptical because of the hidden messages Alexey discovered, he said that he wouldn't go but if Alexey wanted to go he could help him get on a ship that would take him there. Alexey thought about this for a long time, he thought that it was too dangerous for someone like him and that the island might not even exist. After a week of thinking, Alexey decided to go because he couldn't live in his village anymore. The streets were filled with drunkards and junkies, the population went down from 1000 to 700 in 2 years and because he was bad at school and probably wouldn't get a good job after finishing it, he decided to seek Argos's treasure in hope that it would give him a good life.
His brother gave him $1000 and got him onto a plane that would land in Greece where Alexey would get onto the ship and go to Japan. In Japan, he would be alone, and he would need to find a way to get to the island.
*1 DAY LATER*
Alexey was in Greece and coincidently his favorite basketball team Partizan was playing against Olympiacos. He thought to himself: "The ship is coming in 3 hours, I have enough time to watch the game, what could go wrong, I just need to buy a ticket" Alexey wanted to buy the ticket, but they were sold out. Disappointed, he started to walk away and go buy some food because he was hungry, but out of nowhere, a bunch of people started running out of the stadium. He tried to understand what's happening and tried asking some people that ran, but they wouldn't respond. Out of nowhere, some guy with a black eye grabbed him and told him that the fans inside were fighting because a player from Olympiacos started a fight with another player from Partizan because he was teasing him that he had slept with his wife. Alexey wanted to flee because he knew how dangerous basketball fans can be, but before running away, he noticed someone familiar. A man who was taller than everyone else wearing glasses and wearing partizan hoodie screaming "YOU BITCHES WE ARE GOING TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU". Alexey instantly recognized him and started running towards him and screaming "JOHNNY JOHNNY JOHNNY". Johnny didn't hear him, and before he could get close to him, he was jumped by 3 fans of Olympiacos who threw him on the ground and started beating him. Alexey tried to fight back, but he was powerless against 3 grown man he screamed for someone to come and help him, but nobody could hear him from the commotion. He got a broken nose and a few broken bones than the fans that attacked him left, after a few minutes police came in large numbers to try and calm down the situation, but it got even worse because the fans started fighting with the police. Alexey, barely standing, managed to start walking towards Johnny, who was now trying to flee the scene. He screamed again "JOHNNY IM BEHIND YOU IDIOT". Johnny finally noticed him and ran towards Alexey to help him.
Alexey:Took you long enough to notice me
Johnny: How was I supposed to know you would be here, what are you doing here anyway
Alexey:LETS GET OUT OF HERE, THEN WE WILL TALK ABOUT THAT
Johnny now running with bloodied Alexey from the chaos that is behind them is still trying to understand what is his friend doing here in Greece. But before he could get answers to his questions, he needs to find a safe spot where he and Alexey could go to.
