Following Caesar's command.
The Gnolls gleefully cleaned the battlefield, stripping off the Griffon Knights' armor, lances, and greatshields one by one. From their bodies, they found hundreds of gold and silver coins, over twenty gems, and several very precious magic gems, all of which were sent into Caesar's Dragon Lair.
A Red Dragon possesses the innate ability to count their treasures at a glance.
Even if an insignificant copper coin were taken from mountains of gold and silver, it would be noticed immediately. One can fully trust a Red Dragon's sensitivity to treasure.
Caesar was no exception.
He wasn't worried about his kin daring to embezzle his treasures; that would be like lighting a lantern in a latrine – no one would do something so suicidal.
"Human, your name!"
Caesar spoke in a low voice, examining the Human girl before him.
Whether from a Human perspective or a Dragon perspective, this Human girl could be said to be very beautiful.
A waterfall of silver hair, an exquisite and flawless face, and a full, shapely figure.
"Red Dragon Your Excellency, my name is Diana Silvermoon."
As a Spellcaster, maintaining composure is fundamental. Diana curtsied elegantly and stated her name, but the white knuckles clutching her staff showed that her emotions were greatly fluctuating.
She hadn't been killed by Duke Zijin's people.
Instead, she was saved by a Red Dragon.
This made her feel quite surreal.
According to legend, Red Dragons are the most evil beings.
As the leader of the Five-Colored Dragons, the infamous reputation of Red Dragons spread throughout many Human Kingdoms.
"Very good, Diana. From now on, you are my possession. If you are willing to follow me, I will grant you the right to live!"
"Now tell me, what is your answer?"
Caesar gazed at her quietly, without beating around the bush, but speaking directly.
"Follow you?"
Diana was somewhat stunned.
However, being alive, she wouldn't choose to seek death. After all, she still carried the hopes of so many who had died, and without completing her revenge against Duke Zijin, she was unwilling to give up no matter what.
"I am willing!"
Diana didn't hesitate much, saying firmly.
"You have made a wise decision."
Caesar praised, spreading his Dragon wings, grabbing the Human princess, and flying towards his Dragon Lair.
His Dragon Lair was a dormant volcano.
The top layer was his dwelling, and the mountainside was for powerful kin to reside.
For example, Dragon Vein Green Feather Eagles, while the foothills were guarded by a host of Fire Lizards and Gnolls.
Caesar placed Diana near the mountaintop.
His dwelling was filled with lava, unbearable for Humans; only Red Dragons would find it enjoyable.
Here was a very simple palace.
This was a place Caesar had the Gnolls build, suitable for Human habitation.
Now that Diana was here.
It was just right for her to live in.
Such a young Three-ring Spellcaster indicated good talent, which made Caesar quite satisfied.
"Red Dragon Your Excellency..."
Diana clutched her skirt with both hands.
She probably knew what she would face, but her heart was still filled with tension.
"Don't be nervous, relax."
Caesar uncharacteristically showed some tenderness.
Towards beautiful and pure maidens, Red Dragons would often restrain some of their unpleasant emotions. This was one way for Red Dragons to soothe their feelings; it wasn't necessarily about making them do anything. Just like collecting treasure, having them polish Dragon scales was also an enjoyable act.
After thinking for a moment.
Fiery red magical light illuminated his surroundings.
His enormous Dragon body also began to slowly shrink, transforming into a Human-like outline.
A youth who looked fifteen or sixteen, appearing even younger than Diana.
But his handsomeness surpassed the imagination of any creature.
A shock of red hair, like the morning glow in the sky.
A pair of red pupils held astonishing charm, perfectly matching the Human fantasy of a beautiful youth with red eyes.
Even Diana was quite amazed.
From an appearance standpoint, Caesar's Human form stood completely at the pinnacle of living beings.
The moment he appeared, her heart pounded wildly.
It completely contradicted her stereotype of a Red Dragon.
Of course, Dragons, as top-tier magical creatures and perfect creations, are majestic and handsome males and tall and beautiful females. If a Dragon looked very ordinary, its bloodline must not be very pure.
Using Polymorph for the first time.
Caesar felt slightly uncomfortable.
His immense power was suppressed within a small Human body, no wonder Dragons rarely used Polymorph most of the time.
But there was no other way.
With his massive Dragon body, this simple palace couldn't allow him to fully stretch out.
A little force would shatter it immediately.
Caesar familiarized himself slightly with the Human body, looking at the stunned Human princess, and the corner of his mouth curved slightly.
