Later that night after everyone had gone to sleep, Alexander sat in the bar, downing some wine. But he wasn't alone, Ethan was leaning against the wall, watching him with a frown.
"Are you planning on getting drunk? What's wrong? Did anyone say something?" Ethan asked. Alexander could hear the slight concern in his tone and it irritated him further. He wasn't a child, he didn't need anyone's concern.
He took the glass of wine to his lips and poured the liquid down his throat, then asked, "what makes you think someone said something?"
"What else would make you sit here, looking miserable as if your first love just broke your heart?"
Alexander scoffed at how ridiculous that sounded to his ears. "Never mind," he said, pouring himself more wine. "What about the necklace? Were you able to get it?"
