After having breakfast alone the next morning, I sat in my room, watching the beautiful garden from the window. This was the first time I truly noticed how heavenly the garden looked, and not only that, the rustling sounds the leaves made helped as a copying mechanism for all the weak plans I have made so far.
I had told myself several times that since I couldn't get my necklace, there was no need to stay back here, and after what Alexander did to my father, I felt more urge to get away as soon as possible. There was this nagging feeling in my stomach that told me he wasn't over yet, and I didn't want to wait to know what would be next.
But again, where would I go? I was sure my father wouldn't want to see my face after last night, and Katie had been out of town for quite some time. So where?
