"I assume you have a way to breathe life into them. Will Daenerys have three dragons or can we..." Viserys did not complete his words and looked a little hesitant.
"Go on, dear," Rhaella asked with a curious tilt of her head.
"I was going to ask if you would be able to combine their powers into one. But that would be cruel to do to living creatures," Viserys said and waved his hand as if dismissing his previous words.
Rhaella fell into thought at the suggestion. There were no souls in the eggs yet, so she knew it would not be cruel.
It was simply a matter of taking the vitality of the three eggs and concentrating it into a single point. The question in her mind was whether it would be better to have three wyverns or one creature with the strength of all three combined.
She considered that a creature born that way might be closer to a true dragon than a wyvern. It would likely possess greater magical power that Daenerys could access through her bond.
"That is a fascinating idea, son. And do not worry, for they have no souls yet," Rhaella said.
She shrugged as she decided she should ask the girl for her own wishes on the matter.
Viserys nodded just as the door opened. His sister entered the room while the maid closed the door and left them to their privacy.
"Woo! These stones are so pretty," Daenerys muttered.
Her eyes immediately found the wyvern eggs sitting in the open box.
"They are not stones, sweetling. These are dragon eggs, for you," Viserys told her.
He had a wide, excited smile on his face as if he were anticipating the joy about to bloom on her face.
"Are they?!" the little girl shouted.
She ran over to the eggs in wonder and placed her hands on one of them.
"This one is for me," she said, referring to the one her hand was currently touching. "That one is for mother and that one is for Vissy."
She allocated the eggs to the other two, choosing the one she thought was the prettiest for herself. Viserys chuckled with a shake of his head. His sweet sister had clearly stopped listening to his words the moment he revealed the eggs were dragons.
"You can keep mine, dear. I am a dragon myself now. I do not need one anymore," Rhaella said with amusement dancing in her eyes.
"Keep mine as well. I am a dragon as well now," Viserys added.
He raised his hands like claws and acted like a dragon as he began to chase after his squealing sister.
"Who is going to save the little princess from the big bad dragon?" he shouted.
He picked the girl up on his shoulder and spun her around, earning even more giggles and shouts from her.
Rhaella laughed out loud and joined in. She picked both of her children up in her arms and spun them around while letting out some mock roars of her own.
They settled down after a while. The children laid on the bed to gather their breath from all the laughing and shouting they had been doing.
Once they calmed down, Rhaella explained to Daenerys that all three eggs were meant for her.
"But Vissy should have one," the little girl whined, finding the situation to be unfair.
"Mother has promised me a special gift as well. It just has not arrived yet," the boy said to placate her.
He offered a wry smile, and only then did Daenerys nod and accept the three eggs.
"When will the dragons come out of them?" Daenerys asked her mother while jumping around her.
"Soon. Tell me, dear. Would you prefer three dragons or one very big and strong one?" Rhaella asked as she bent her elbows as if to show off her brawn.
"Will it be bigger than Balerion?" Daenerys asked with a wondrous glint in her eyes.
"Even bigger," Rhaella said with a nod she spread her arms wide to indicate the size.
"Would it hurt the other two?" the little girl asked.
She received a firm shake of the head from her mother.
"I want one big one then," Daenerys decided in that moment.
Rhaella nodded and thought for a moment before telling her children she would be back in a little bit. She disappeared in a flash of red embers.
She appeared in front of the lair of Luxarion and was about to shout for permission to enter when she heard him calling her from inside the cave.
She entered the cave with a shrug. She felt a familiar heat and a thick, potent magic seeping through the air that seemed to nourish her very being.
As she went deeper, she found Luxarion in his full, massive gold dragon form. The precious metals in his hoard bathed in his magic beside him while various scrolls and magical artifacts shimmered in the light.
"It is good to see you again, my Lord," Rhaella greeted the dragon.
She tried to bow but felt a gentle force preventing her from doing so.
"It is good to see you, my Lady. I hope you are well," the gold dragon greeted her gently.
He rested his head on his front legs so he did not have to look down on her too much because of his colossal size.
"I have been well. I wished to ask your opinion on a matter," she started.
She continued to explain the wyvern egg situation to Luxarion after he nodded for her to proceed. She had sought him out specifically to ask the best way to carry out the hatching so her daughter would get as much benefit as possible.
"An easy matter," Luxarion stated.
An empty parchment floated in front of him. He glanced at the parchment and words began to write themselves across the surface before it moved toward Rhaella.
She collected the parchment just as a Wampus Cat Heartstring floated in front of her. She collected that as well.
There was an easy ritual written on the parchment with the heartstring as the key ingredient.
"Thank you, my Lord. You are too generous," Rhaella stated.
She seemed a little embarrassed as she thought she had asked too much of someone who had given her so much already.
"I have more than I need. And my children would faster run away than accept gifts from me," Luxarion muttered.
He seemed a little exasperated at the situation. Rhaella smiled wryly before letting out a soft chuckle.
She spent a few moments after that politely declining several other gifts Luxarion was trying to give her before excusing herself from his lair.
"I understand how his children feel now," she muttered to herself as she walked out of the cave.
The dragon was so generous and kind that it felt like one was taking advantage of him by accepting his gifts. She teleported back to her children and found Daenerys alone in the room.
"Vissy is training," the girl told her.
She was scooped up into the arms of her mother.
"Come, my love. Let's get that dragon for you," Rhaella stated.
She teleported herself, Daenerys, and the eggs into a volcano. She formed a red shield around her daughter to protect her from the heat before placing the eggs on the hot ground.
She then bit her finger and let some of her blood fall onto the eggs before she traced a pattern on them.
Next, she smeared a little bit of her blood on the Wampus Cat Heartstring before placing it on the forehead of Daenerys.
The heartstring merged with the girl. She then waved her hand and the eggs submerged themselves in the lava in front of them.
