The Desert of Jatin Planet
The wind howled across the barren landscape, carrying streams of sand that seemed to scream along with it. From afar, a lone black figure trudged forward, blurred by the storm. Slowly, the camera focused—revealing a teenage Shammroy, his fist clenched tightly.
He stopped. His chest rose with a sigh as he opened his palm. Resting there were nine small pole sticks, faintly glowing with power. Shammroy raised them to his face, his voice no louder than a whisper carried by the storm.
Shammroy ,whispering, resolute,
"So… now it's time to use these. Which one will I choose to begin with…?"
The wind howled louder, and the camera panned upwards. A flashback burned into view.
The Gift of the Poles – FlashbackShammroy stood before Ratnire, Eldrin, and Ziron. Ziron, with his usual composed smile, extended his fist. In it, nine glowing sticks.
Shammroy ,confused, curious,
"What are these?"
Eldrin stepped forward, his tone calm, almost teacher-like,
"These are portal poles. They can open gateways—each one to a different planet."
Shammroy's lips curled into a mischievous grin.
Shammroy , teasing, laughing,
"Hah! You're kidding, right? I can open portals myself. Why would I need these?"
Ratnire's tone was firmer, his voice carrying weight like a mentor scolding a stubborn student,
"We know you can… but tell me this—do you know where your future team members are? These poles will guide you. They'll take you to them."
Shammroy blinked, scratching the back of his head with a sheepish chuckle,
"What do you mean by 'find them'? There are so many sticks here…"
Ratnire smiled knowingly, almost proudly,
"Each pole connects to one planet. On each world… a new member of your team awaits."
Shammroy's eyes flickered with new determination. Ziron then stepped closer, lowering his voice yet filling it with fierce encouragement. He clenched his fist tightly in front of Shammroy.
Ziron, encourages ,
"Go, kid. Go and find them. Build your team. Become the new Overlord."
Shammroy's laugh rang out, bold and reckless as always. The flashback faded with his smile.
The ChoiceBack in the vast desert of Jatin, the storm still roared. Shammroy stared at the poles in his hand, his grip tightening.
Shammroy ,softly, but with conviction,
"Guess I'll start with the first stick… huh."
He thrust one pole forward. Immediately, the ground trembled and a blinding light erupted, forming a swirling portal of shifting colors.
The winds tore around him as the gateway expanded, its power humming through the desert. Shammroy's face hardened, his jaw set.
Shammroy , with a sigh, then a grin,
"Alright then… it begins here. Now—I need to go!"
Without hesitation, he stepped into the portal. The light swallowed him whole, and the screen cut to black.
In the Den of QuerionThe camera shifted to a dark cavern lit by the glow of countless flames. Querion, Zoick, Rakhad, Eldrin, and Ferin sat in a circle, as the eldrin voice echoing against the cavern walls. Around them stretched the terrifying sight of two endless rows of demons—one million strong—silent, watching and behind them a big rock throne.
The group's discussion broke when Rakhad's voice cut sharply through the silence.
Rakhad demanding,
"Wait! I have a doubt."
Ferin turned his head slightly, speaking in a calm, measured tone,
"What doubt, Rakhad?"
Rakhad leaned forward, his eyes narrowing, his voice laced with confusion,
"If Shammroy truly seeks to be Overlord… then why does he declare on that day as —'I am Demon Lord'?"
For a moment, silence weighed heavily on the cavern. Zoick's eyes widened slightly, a flicker of recognition sparking in them.
Zoick ,remembering, intrigued,
"Yes… you're right. The first time you met him—he did say that."
Rakhad nodded, his voice firmer now,
"Exactly. That contradiction—what does it mean?"
Eldrin shifted uneasily, hesitation written all over his face. His mouth opened as if to speak.
Eldrin halting, uncertain,
"Th–… well, it's because—"
Before he could finish, Querion let out a long sigh. He shrugged, his expression calm but his eyes still close,
"Don't rush the answer. Just wait. Soon… you'll see for yourself."
The camera slowly pulled away from their circle, rising past the watching demons, until the cavern's darkness swallowed the screen.
