> It's just the eye of the war.
This chapter is slower, but heavy. Time to breathe, feel… and bleed again 😈
---
Scene opens:
A cabin deep in the Norwegian forest.
Snow falls. Fire crackles.
Aria sits at the window, watching the trees. The Red Tower is gone. Augustin captured. The siblings scattered.
And yet… she can't sleep.
Not after what she almost became.
Not after what Omega still is.
---
Liam enters.
Still awake?
She nods.
Every time I close my eyes, I see her.
The version of me that feels nothing. The one who almost erased everything."
Liam sits beside her.
She didn't win.
Aria turns, voice barely above a whisper:
Didn't she?
-
Aria is struggling — because deep inside, she felt safe during the Singularity moment. Too safe. Too powerful.
And part of her misses it.
---
Liam cups her face gently.
Whatever you were made to be — you still chose us.
She leans into him — forehead to forehead.
If I ever become her—You won't.
But if I do—I'll remind you of your name, your laugh, your fire.
Even if I have to burn for it.
Then…he kisses her.
Not desperate,not wild just real.
---
But from the hallway—omega watches them.
Expression unreadable.
Then she turns away.
---
The next morning…omega is gone.
She left a message, scrawled into the frost on the windowpane:
I have to find the others before they find me.
I don't know how to be a sister.
But I can try to be less of a weapon.
Don't follow me you deserve peace.
I deserve penance.
— O.
---
Omega leaves voluntarily — but she's not vanishing.
She's going to hunt down the remaining Helix subjects who escaped the Tower's fall.
Some of them?Still loyal to Augustin.
Some of them?want Aria dead.
---
Back in the cabin, Aria clutches the message.
Liam watches her.
What now?
Aria looks out into the snow.
We let her go…then her expression hardens.
But if anyone comes after her — or after us I'll burn everything.
---
Final scene:
Far from the cabin…
A dark lab in the Swiss Alps.
Someone walks through flickering hallways, past glass tubes and broken equipment.
They stop in front of a pod.
Inside it floats a boy — about Aria's age.
Alive. Breathing. Eyes shut.
A label on the pod flickers:
Subject H00 – Genesis.
The first one. Before them all.
Then a voice in the dark:
Wake him,It's time Aria met her original brother.

❓ Reader Questions:
1. Is Omega truly free — or still trapped in her programming?
2. Will Aria and Liam finally have peace… or is this just a pause before war?
3. Who is Subject Genesis — and why was he hidden even from Augustin's files?
4. Should Aria fight… or disappear?
