💼 Chapter 31 – The First To Fall

---

Scene opens:

Night.

The Helix safehouse is silent.

Too silent.

---

Suddenly, alarms blare. The walls flicker red.

Liam leaps from his cot, weapon drawn.

Ares slams open a door.

Kira's gone.

Aria grabs her jacket, eyes glowing faintly. Perimeter breach?

No,Cleo says, trembling.

Something's already inside.

---

Cut to: Kira.

Outside, running through the snowy trees.

She's breathing hard — but not from fear.

From hope.

I brought him here,she whispers.

He promised to fix us.

Then a voice behind her:

I only promised one thing.

She turns.

Genesis steps out of the shadows.

Eyes glowing,calm and beautiful.

I promised to end it all.

---

Kira betrayed the team again — in exchange for safety with Genesis.

But she didn't know what Genesis really is.

---

She tries to speak.

But Genesis simply raises a hand.

And Kira's body explodes into black ash — without a sound.

One second, she's alive.

The next?

Gone.

---

Back in the safehouse—A snowflake lands on Aria's arm.

It's… black.

She freezes.

He's here.

---

They rush outside.

Too late.

Only ashes remain.

Liam drops to his knees.

Ares curses under his breath.

Aria stares into the forest, eyes cold.

He didn't kill her, she says.

He erased her.

---

Back inside, a message plays on the screen.

A flickering hologram of Genesis.

I am not your brother.

I am your replacement.

You were created from my failure.

Now, I've returned… to fix it.

Aria's breath catches.

He's not just a Helix.

He's the original source.

---

Genesis is the very first Helix subject — created long before Omega, Aria, or anyone.

But he was hidden away because he was too unstable.

He's not just stronger.

He can erase Helix code completely.

Which means… no healing.

No revival. No escape.

---

Later that night, Aria sits alone.

Omega appears — somehow, silently returned.

She saw the smoke. The ashes.

Did you bring him?Aria asks.

Omega's jaw clenches.No.

Do you know how to stop him?

Omega hesitates. Then says:

Only if I merge with you.

Only if we become what Augustin wanted.

The Singularity.

---

Aria stares at her.

One path means saving everyone.

The other means surrendering herself forever.

And she's running out of time

---

Final scene:

Genesis walks across an abandoned city street in Vienna.

Helix survivors come out of hiding.

He lifts his hand.

And erases six of them in a single breath.

Then whispers:

Aria… come find me.

Or I'll erase your world piece by piece.

---
