Chapter 42 - Corrupted Sticky Frogs

With no knowledge of what had happened that made Sienna looked hurried, Louisa still followed, gripping the bat in her hand.

"System, where is his location?"

[Outside.]

"Outside?" Sienna's eyes narrowed and she quickened her step. Her heart lodged in her throat. Could it be that the young boy had ventured outside for his mother?

The person she had handed him over to was his relative, who had come along with his mother and she had made them leave first since that relative was unaffected. Meanwhile, the mother's corpse had been taken into the basement alongside the others, to be turned when the time came.

Finally, Sienna saw him. He was standing in the rain, feet in the puddles, clothes clinging to his body. His entire aura spelled melancholy, making her heart once more felt heavy.

He's going to develop a fever at this rate.
