Well, here we get the aftermath of the worst family reunion.
Wukong and Macaque somehow made it worse. Yet, one of them are at least trying more, than the other.

*Miwa's apartment.*
Miwa was laying in her bed, with the whole room being a mess. Though her living room got the worst of it.
The cosmic energy, surrounding Miwa, had been slowly fading these last few hours. But wasn't all gone yet.
Suddenly, the sound of her phone started ringing, catching Miwa's attention as she let out a dramatic sigh. Slowly sitting up from her bed, she picked up the phone and saw that it was Mk calling. Wanting her mind off things, she took the call.
"Hey, Mk. What's up?" Miwa's voice sounded hoarse when she spoke up, since she had been crying and shouting for hours and only known had calm down.
"Oh, Miwa, are you alright? You don't sound well." Mk asked in a concern tone.
"I'm fine, Mk, just....just didn't get much sleep." Miwa got up from the bed and walked out of her bedroom.
"I guess after what happened yesterday, it really took a toll on you." said Mk, while a faint sound in the background could be heard.
"..... It took a lot out of me. But I really don't wanna talk about it." Miwa walked through her living room, where there was a broken TV with the remote stuck into it. While the couch was split in half next to a crushed table, and two broken windows, and a lamp that was hanging from dear life on one wire stuck to the ceiling.
Miwa went on to walk through a broken wall, with broken pictures on the floor. Ignoring the glass shards as she entered the kitchen, one of the few rooms that wasn't destroyed, along with her bathroom, of course.
"I understand, but don't you think you should, at least, listen to Monkey King and hear him out? I'm sure he has some good reasons." said Mk, trying to convince her to give her dad a chance.
"Mk, I just told you that I don't wanna talk about it, and I don't wanna hear anything my dad has to say. It's just gonna be another fucking lie!" Miwa could feel her anger growing along with the cosmic energyincreasing. She opened her fridge to grab something to eat, but noticed she had run out of mangos, which only pissed her off even more.
Then all of a sudden, someone's else voice could be heard, in the background of Mk's call. "Monkey King, why do you look like me?! And what are you doing with my phone?!"
Miwa just froze in place when she heard Mk shouting in the background, which meant that she had been speaking to Wukong, acting as Mk through this whole call.
"Are you fucking serious!" Miwa shouted into the phone, not caring whether it was hurting Wukong's hearing or not. "I don't wanna talk, nor see you! So just leave me alone!"
"Miwa wait! Just please let me expla–" Miwa crushed her phone in her hand, breaking the call before Wukong could finish speaking.
Letting out a frustrated scream and threw her broken phone, into a wall, causing it to get stuck. "Can't I get one fucking break!"
The cosmic energy, surrounding Miwa, was starting to go out of control as it was lashing out. Knocking stuff over, she had to take a deep breath, trying to remember what Sandy had taught her about controlling her anger.
Miwa went and got herself changed out of her pajamas, and then grabbed her keys. Wanting some fresh air and because she was running low on food.
She took a quick glance at all of her broken stuff. "I'm gonna need some new furniture, but no way I have the money for it..... It looks like it's back to stealing stuff, at least it should be easier by using my portals."
Walking out of her apartment, Miwa went down the street towards the first grocery store she saw. So she could get herself from fresh stuff.
Miwa entered the store and grabbed herself a basket and began walking down the aisles, looking through some of the items and putting them in her basket.
"I'll tell you the same thing I told dad, leave me the fuck alone, papa!" Miwa had felt she was being followed, from the shadows, but wasn't gonna give the person her attention.
"I see you were able to get out of the shadow-realm, I went to check on you but didn't find you anywhere." Macaque came out of the shadows, and began following her around.
Miwa let out a low growl, tails lashing out. But tried holding in her anger since they were in a public place. "So that's what the fucking place is called. Very fitting, for someone as shady as you."
"I also checked your place, it looked like you had some crazy fight. I'm starting to see who you got your temper from." Macaque took notice of some of the items that she picked up, and were putting in her basket.
"Excuse me?!" Miwa turned around to glare at him straight in the eyes. "You don't know shit about me, you and dad weren't there for most of my livelihood, so you don't get to judge me!"
"You're right, I wasn't there for most of your life." Macaque crossed his arms, looking at her but wasn't intimidated by the glare she was giving him, let alone the rising temper. "But I still wanna catch up with the time I lost with you."
"Like fucking shit, you are! You cared more about your beef with dad, then about me! You even went as far as to lie to me about why you wanted to train Mk, just to betray my trust and trick Mk?!" Miwa shouted, tears forming in her eyes. "What I hate more than anything, is people betraying me!"
Macaque stayed quiet as he was listening to her outburst, a bit of a hurtful expression grew on his face. But he tried playing it off like he wasn't affected by her words.
"You and dad wanna continue to fight, fine. But one thing parents should never bring into a fight. Is their own kids." Miwa turned back around, slapping one of her tails against his face as she continued her shopping.
Macaque let out a small sigh, having ignored the slap to his face from one of her tails and decided to keep following her. But went on to take the basket from her hands and began helping her, whatever she wanted his help or not.
"I don't need your help, papa. Can't you just leave me alone already." Miwa growled, but was now the one following him instead of the other way around.
"If you didn't want to get mixed into our fight. Then you should have just told me that you remembered Wukong being your parent too, instead of keeping that to yourself. So don't go and throw the blame all on me and him, when you are part of it too." Macaque noticed some fresh mangos, and picked up a few and put them in the basket.
"I didn't say anything because all I thought was you two were just divorced, if I had known you two would actually try and kill each other I'll have said something." Miwa crossed her arms, but could already feel how exhausted she was from being all mad.
Macaque gently poked her forehead with his tail, while he grabbed some eggs and milk, putting them also in the basket. "Now you're just lying to yourself, the reason you didn't really tell me anything, let alone Wukong after I told you not to. Was that you wanted both of our attention, without us finding out and getting into a fight."
Miwa started getting all flustered as her face was turning red, she opened her mouth to speak up against it, but Macaque was already ahead of her.
Macaque was looking through a few different kinds of bread, checking for any signs of it growing bad. "I might have only been around in your life, for these last few months. But I already know you well enough, that I've noticed your craving for the attention of a parent caring for you." He picked what he thought looked good enough and put it in the basket. "You've been through a lot of foster families, and each time you closed yourself off and put up walls to protect yourself."
"What are you getting at, papa?" Miwa narrowed her eyes at him, not liking what he was telling her.
"I can't speak for Wukong, but I can tell you this." Macaque turned to finally look at her in the eyes. "We both care about you, Miwa. Even if we can't stand each other, and I'm not gonna stop getting my revenge on him. We would never want you getting mixed into it."
Miwa looked at him closely, trying to find any kind of hint that he was lying to her. But she couldn't catch anything that made her call out his bluff, but she was still a little weary about trusting him again. "..... But do you really have to get revenge? Can't you just forget about it and stop trying to kill each other?"
Macaque caught on to her being cautious about him, which he couldn't blame her for being. Not after having betrayed her trust once. Nonetheless, he went on to grow a smirk at her question. "Yeah...you see, little star. I can't just drop it. I have my own reasons for wanting revenge, and I'm not all up for forgetting it. Not after what he did."
Miwa narrowed her eyes at him, annoyed by this. "Why not, what could dad possibly have done for you, wanting revenge, let alone kill him?"
Macaque's smirk dropped, just as the basket he was holding that fell into a shadow portal. Along with himself and Miwa as they ended up back in her destroyed apartment.
"Wha-did you just steal all of that?!" Miwa was shocked that he would steal from a grocery store.
"Like you were actually gonna pay for that in the first place, Freckles." Macaque had a smug grin on his face as he picked up the basket, and the processed to take it into the kitchen.
Miwa wanted to give a remark on that, but no word left her mouth, since he was right. She had planned to portal home with the basket without paying for it.
"I'll help you get some new furniture, but the phone." Macaque pointed towards the broken phone, still stuck in the wall. "You'll have to get a new one, yourself."
"... What about windows, and broken walls?" Miwa questioned, slightly curious.
Macaque looked at the broken windows and walls for a moment. "You're fixing that yourself, little one. There is a limit to my generosity."
"... Generosity, my ass, you're just more interested in laying on a new couch." Miwa pointed out, not believing him one bit.
"Believe what you want, Freckles." Macaque gave a slight shrug and threw a mango over that she quickly caught. "Huh, looks like your appearance have changed a bit again."
Miwa held the mango he had thrown to him, about to take a bite, but stopped and looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "What changed?"
"Why don't you go and take a look in the mirror, if you haven't broken that too?" Macaque smirked at her, grabbing himself a mango too.
Miwa gave him a skeptic glance, before going to the bathroom and took a look in the mirror. What she saw was that her face looked more like a monkey, and she had a brown face mask. "..... Well, now there is no way of hiding what I am. All I'm missing is fur."
(she is getting closer to her monkey form.)

With a sigh, Miwa walked out of the bathroom, taking a bite of her mango, since she was hungry and had been craving a mango for a while.
Macaque had gone on to portal away all the broken stuff, that way it looked less of a mess. Besides the broken windows and walls.
"Just because you're helping me with getting new furniture, doesn't mean I've forgiven you for what you did." said Miwa walking over to him with her arms crossed.
"Good because I'm not looking for you to forgive me." Macaque ruffled her hair, to which she slapped his hand away. "Now, let's go and get some furniture."
"Do you even know any stores that sell furni–Aaah!" Miwa started questioning him before she fell through a portal under her and Macaque.
*Four hours later.*
"And that is the TV, I've gotta say, Freckles. You've got good taste." said Macaque as he brought a TV through his portal, while Miwa had brought the couch through hers.
"If I'm gonna steal stuff, I might as well go for the good stuff. And with these new shadow powers, it just makes it so much easier and fun to mess with people." Miwa focused on setting up a new lamp, that didn't look like it was gonna fall at any second.
"I told you it would be fun, using the shadows to scare people is so easy." Macaque chuckles while watching her set up the lamp.
"... Papa, why do you wanna kill dad? What did he do for you wanting to go so far?" Miwa got back on the floor and looked over at him. "Tell me the truth, I deserve to know."
Macaque let out a heavy sigh, his smile fading away. "Fine, but don't think me telling you is gonna change anything." He removed the glamor around his right eye, revealing the scar and blind eye.
Miwa watched him and let out a shocked gasp when she saw his right eye. Not sure how to take it, but understood it wasn't something he liked showing off.
Macaque gave a nervous smile, rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah, it's not pretty, got it when.....when Wukong killed me."
"What..." Miwa's eyes widened when he told her this. "B-but why, what made him do that?"
"It's hard to explain, but all you need to know is that I can't forgive him for this. And I wouldn't stop until he has gotten what he deserves." Macaque explained in a stern demeanor.
".... But why kill? No one deserves to be killed, no matter what the reason might be, good or evil. Every creature has a right to live." As Miwa spoke, her eyes had turned red before they changed back to normal.
"No such thing as everyone deserves to live, if that was true, Wukong wouldn't have killed me let alone all the other demons in his path." said Macaque, crossing his arms.
Once again, Miwa's eyes changed to red as she spoke up again. "Every person and creature has their own ideals, and goals. But at the end of the day, everyone is trying to survive. If you put your own ideals above everyone else, no matter their reasons. You're no better than Lady–" Her eyes changed back to normal as she felt a serious headache, and almost fell over from it.
Macaque took notice of her change in behavior, like she was someone or something else. But he quickly snapped out of it when he noticed her losing balance. "You should get some rest, Freckles."
"I'm fine, papa." Miwa gave him an annoyed glare, leaning against the couch.
"If you're sure." Macaque still observed her closely, just to be completely sure. "Miwa, I have some business I need to take care of. So I wouldn't be around for a while, but even still. Something is coming, and I don't want you putting yourself in danger,"
Miwa raised a questionable eyebrow at him. "What's coming? Where are you going?"
Macaque gave her a soft smile, patting her head. "Don't worry so much, I'm sure Wukong will be around to look after you. He should at least be capable of that much."
"But papa–" Miwa reached a hand towards him, but he had already fallen through a shadow portal, and was gone. "What did you mean, something is coming?"
