Chapter 132 - Can't wait for the fundraiser

Andria's POV 

"Seriously, I've been waiting for you for ages," she said, freezing mid-step when she saw the scene. 

"Did I interrupt something?"

"You have no idea," Damon muttered.

I turned to her, relief flooding me. "Actually, you came just in time."

Michaela raised a brow. "Great. Because Becca and Arlo finished practice early and they're waiting…for us outside."

She spoke the last sentence carefully, studying the scene and then turning to wink at me, as if suggesting that I had a lot of gist to tell her later.

I nodded quickly, ignoring her expression, already grabbing my bag. "Perfect."

Zade's voice followed me as I moved toward the door. "This isn't over, Aria."

I paused just long enough to glance back. "It is, at least for today."

He looked at me longingly and then hissed before turning to leave.

Aven stepped aside to let me pass, his expression unreadable. Damon looked like he wanted to say something, but didn't.
