No flicker. No distortion.

Like it had always been there, waiting for them to arrive and read it.

Azari didn't touch the monitor.

"Don't," Jung Min said anyway.

A new line appeared beneath it.

The pulse under the floor synced with the refresh of the text.

Slow. Intentional.

Azari's voice was thin. "This isn't the Choir."

"No," Jung Min said. "This is what the Choir left behind."

Another line typed itself out.

you made silence

Azari stepped back.

The air in the room felt occupied.

Not by light. Not by sound.

By attention.

Jung Min felt it clearly now.

Something was watching them the way he used to watch targets through a scope.

Learning posture. Breath. Timing.

The screen added one more line.
