Aoi charges in first — no fancy tricks — just grit and speed.
He throws punches like someone who's trained, but not hardened. The Tyrant blocks with one hand, mocking him.Chrono-Savior stays behind, watching patterns — waiting.
"You're still raw, still unsure. You don't belong in this fight." The Tyrant says blankly before pushing him away with one hand before following up with a hook to the jaw.
"I belong here because you do!" Aoi says, He ducks a punch and lands a clean hit — the Tyrant's jaw turns with the impact.
The Tyrant stumbles back with a grin on his face. "That's it!" a wild smile flashing across his face before retaliating with a perfect punch to Aoi's face, making him stumble back a little, The Tyrant begins to land another hit targeted at Aoi's ribs.
Chrono-Savior steps in. He doesn't time-hop — just flows with perfect timing.When Aoi swings and gets countered, Savior is already blocking the follow-up.They begin trading hits like a rhythm: Aoi distracts, Savior disables.
The Tyrant starts to learn the combinations, he blocks the Chrono-Savior's attack before kicking him aside, he predicts that Aoi was going to follow up so he stops him mid punch, elbows him in the nose, breaking it on impact before pressing him against a wall.
"You think these are YOUR timelines to save?! Your a fool, idiot even!" The Tyrant mocks before moving his hands to press on Aoi's neck.
Aoi punches Prime Aoi clean in the face multiple times but he just takes the hits with a cold glare. "It doesn't matter what I think! Everything is at stake if you keep being this reckless!!" Aoi retaliated.
The Tyrant looks at Aoi with a disgusted expression before hitting him clean on the jaw with a uppercut with his Chrono-Gauntlet. The impact is immense, sending Aoi tumbling upwards along the wall before he's mid-air, which The Tyrant expected, reappearing behind Aoi, charging up his gauntlet with a massive time wave.
The Chrono-Savior moves through time, using his Chrono-Watch infused arm to hop through time, moving faster than someone can teleport, running up the wall and meeting The Tyrant and Aoi in the air. The Savior strikes The Tyrant with his Chrono-Arm targeted towards his back, nearly shattering The Tyrant's back as he crashes downward to the ground. Leaving a large crater.
Chrono-Savior swipes Aoi mid-air and lands on top of the building. "Be more careful! You were reckless!"
Aoi sighs in relief. "Sorry..I guess he has a way of getting under my skin.."
"He has that effect-" Chrono Savior says with a slight smile.
The Tyrant arises below from the smoke, a dark smile on his face before shooting out a massive time beam into the sky from his gauntlet. The sky cracks and breaks as TRA agents come diving out of the split sky.
"This isn't my only owned timeline, Aoi~" Prime Aoi says before disappearing, probably traveling to another timeline.
"Dang it!" Aoi mutters to himself , Chrono-Savior takes him back down on the ground.
The TRA agents land in a explosion, there's probably about 121 agents in front of Aoi and Chrono-Savior.
The general of this group, carried a sword that was made from the energy that comes with fractured timelines, timelines where Aoi died before he can start the Zero Hour Event, or timelines where he didn't exist at all. She was a female, based on her looks, and when she pulls off her mask, it's none other than Kira Yuunagi.
"K-Kira..?" Aoi says, his voice cracking a bit. The Chrono-Savior steps in front of him protectively.
Kira's face was scarred and harden, probably by months, or even years of witnessing timelines collapse. "Don't call my name like we are friends."
Aoi snaps back to his senses and realizes that this Kira is most likely from another timeline, he wipes up some tears before speaking. "Right..but.." Aoi steps past The Chrono-Savior, standing right in front of this Kira variant.
"With every Aoi Takamura, there's a Kira Yuunagi." She says, her voice is cold, dead even as she tightens her grip on her fractured weapon.
"What is that supposed to mean?!" Aoi says defensively, the TRA agents raise and load their guns.
"Hold fire. Deal with the wannabe hero, I'll take care of the naïve one." Kira says, before facing Aoi once again, her cold eyes piercing his. "What I mean is that Kira Yuunagi, is and always will be a stepping stone in Aoi's development. They will always meet in someway. The only reason you didn't meet one in your timeline was because you were too busy being trapped in your parent's house."
"How do you know who I am..?" Aoi mutters, feels like the only words he can manage to speak right now.
"We see everything Aoi, how every timeline works, and if it's going according to plan, and your timeline didn't go to plan from the start, your father died earlier than normal, practically trapped in your parent's house, and you never found your universe's Kira Yuunagi." In less than a second, she swings her blade in a wide arc, aimed to swiftly cut through Aoi's neck.
But at the last moment, Aoi blocked the hit with both hands, the blade collided with the face of his Chrono-Watch, and instead of breaking the watch or damaging the sword, it just creates a mini explosion that makes Aoi fly back further to the side.
"Why do you want to hurt me?!" Tears begin slowly streaming out of his eyes, he can't bring himself to hurt his only friend.
The moment that clash happened, the TRA bursted forward with their weapons, aiming at the Chrono-Savior. He dodges all of their attacks with ease, but it's hard to get back to Aoi.
This new Kira, she moved differently, dodging and weaving through all of Aoi's attempts at fighting back. Aoi tried to get back on his feet but Kira instantly kicked him back on the ground, she tries to stab him with her sword but Aoi puts up his right hand defensively, making the Chrono-Watch and Kira's sword clash making another explosion that knocked back even Chrono-Savior.
"Can't you just hear me out?!" Aoi yells, trying to find any reason not to fight Kira again…it would've hurt too bad to do that.
Kira doesn't respond and kicks Aoi in the gut with all of her strength, sending Aoi back into a nearby brick wall.
Meanwhile, Chrono-Savior wipes through all of the TRA agents, they couldn't even land a single shot on him, while two agents are clinging onto him, trying desperately to restrain him, Chrono-Savior sees that Aoi isn't fighting back at all. He throws the two agents aside and dashes over to Kira to deliver a devastating surprise attack, sending Kira flying to the side.
"What are you doing?! If you don't fight back or do something…she's going eventually kill you!!" Chrono-Savior warns, grabbing Aoi by the collar of his shirt.
Kira arises, her expression cold and calculating. "Aoi.." she says, pointing her sword at him. "Can't you think for yourself? You could escape using that Chrono-Watch, fight back for even an ounce of a chance to beat me..you try like there's still hope." Kira blitzes towards Chrono-Savior and stabs him with her sword before he can even react.
Blood pours from Chrono-Savior's stomach as he coughs up blood. "What…are you doing..?..Run!" That's what Chrono-Savior's final words were before his eyes go blank.
"NO!" Aoi says, trying to grab Kira.
Kira swiftly dodges and stabs her sword through Aoi's shoulder. "You're a pathetic human being, where's that survival instinct? Or maybe panicking, thinking of a way to survive, but no."
Aoi never felt this type of pain, it's agonizing. But in a last ditch effort, he grabs Chrono-Savior and starts running, blood dripped from the wound on his shoulder. Running in his condition, couldn't get him far. Kira didn't even run to chase him, she just walked.
But that's not what Aoi was planning to do, just a little more distance..his Chrono-Watch whirrs. Setting the location, the face of the watch shows: "Timeline 5503."
As Kira went in to pounce on Aoi, he disappeared, along with the body of Chrono-Savior. Just like that.
"Don't follow him. We'll catch him when he's off-guard." Kira says, wiping off the blood from her sword. "Aoi will always mess up at some point."
