Aoi steps into the portal and is met with darkness. Then a vision of all timelines, including Prime Aoi's timeline. Where Aoi witnesses the battle between The Tyrant and this new Aoi variant..some kind of superhero? All that matters now is that Aoi can see the vision of that timeline flickering. Aoi starts hearing whispers in his head
"Save the timeline.." one voice whispers.
"No! Save your skin!~" the other voice says.
Aoi turns around and the portal behind him closes, and a shadowy figure forms. "Aoi Takamura..Aoi Takamura.."
"A timeline killer!" Another voice appears in Aoi's head.
"Ruthless!" Another voice says.
The shadowy figure reaches out it's hand towards Aoi. "You are the the key..save the timeline.." once its shadowy hand touches Aoi's shoulder, Aoi experiences a rush of memories, most of them aren't even his..they're past memories from the Aoi variants that have died…these voices..are from the dead Aoi Takamura variations..!
"What..do..you want from me?!" Aoi says, looking at the shadowy figure.
"You're in the void. Aoi Takamura shouldn't be here." The figure says, before raising their hand and all of a sudden, Aoi is knocked out of the portal and send flying across the science lab.
Kira watches Aoi fall and doesn't move one step, not wanting to show any sort of care towards Aoi, though Dr.Elisa Maren was the first to help Aoi up.
"I knew I shouldn't have put you in there with no preparation! Are you okay?" Dr.Maren says, her tone feigning concern.
Aoi gets up quickly, still in shock from what happened in that empty realm, the visions, the voices, and that shadowy figure standing in front of him. All of that happened so fast..
"Yeah..I'm fine, but..I have to get going." Aoi rushes to turn on his Chrono-Watch.
"Wait." Kira surprisingly says, walking up to Aoi. "Maybe..you're not so bad." Kira puts her arm on Aoi's shoulder.
Aoi's eyes widen, but then he smiles, a genuine smile. The Chrono-Watch whirrs before a blue light starts to engulf Aoi, realizing that he can see his friend, his only friend, in every universe. "Thanks..Kira." Aoi says before he teleports out of the timeline. Leaving Kira thinking about who Aoi Takamura actually is.
Aoi wakes up an hour later, opening his eyes to a destroyed city. He looks at his Chrono-Watch. Tha face of the watch displaying the current timeline he's in: Timeline 15501.
"Just gotta find where these two are fighti-" before Aoi can finish his sentence, he's suddenly feels a massive shockwave that pushes him back, as well as witnessing his entire body, somehow glitching for a split second, this is definitely Prime Aoi and The Chrono-Savior's doing.
Meanwhile..
The Tyrant, with his Chrono-Watch damaged, can no longer travel to another timeline to save himself now. He finally lets loose,
The Tyrant vanishes, but only for a moment. The Chrono-Savior tracks the time residue with his gauntlet, eyes narrowing.
Suddenly—
The Tyrant returns mid-air, dropping like a missile from a time rift. His Chrono-Watch infused gauntlet smashes into the Savior's face.
The Savior is launched through another crumbling building, crashing through it. The Chrono-Savior is forced react quickly as a time beam bursts towards him, he has no time to react and he's sent crashing into the ground. That's where The Tyrant appears in front of him.
"Every second you hesitate, a world dies. After all, Aoi Takamura wasn't meant to be a hero." The Tyrant smiles. Before resting his hand upon The Chrono-Savior's forehead and sending a time wave straight to his dome, making the Savior's ear's bleed before he's knocked back into a wall.
Aoi rushes through the crumbling city that's riddled with screaming citizens, most of the people there are old, and others, are in the process of turning into dust. He just saw the Chrono-Savior get launched through the air, he knows he doesn't have much time until this entire timeline is doomed.
"I don't have much time! Whoever that other person fighting Prime Aoi is, he's the only way to defeating him!" Aoi runs into a pile of debris. He climbs over it to find where Prime Aoi,and The Chrono-Savior stand.
The Tyrant barrages The Chrono-Savior with Time blasts/waves while he's down, each blast or wave causes a mini explosion. "
"You know we fail, right? Every version of us. We always cause it. The Zero Hour event." He says, even though he speaks on such a topic, he's smiling.
"We don't have to always fail!" The Chrono-Savior says, managing to get on his feet, barely, before rushing towards The Tyrant with his Chrono-Watch infused cybernetic arm and launching his fist towards him, at that same moment, The Tyrant launched another time blast towards The Chrono-Savior. The clash causes another explosion. They're both still standing, but they see another figure in the smoke. Their Chrono-Watch whirring.
"I've calculated every outcome of this fight, and throughout all of those outcomes, in every one of them, you show up." The Tyrant growls as he faces the figure. It's none other than Aoi Takamura.
"Look what you've done!" Aoi says, balling up his fists. The smoke clears to reveal his irritated expression.
"Another Aoi variant..?" The Chrono-Savior says, his expression feigning confusion before looming at he The Tyrant with that same fire.. "Look, I can tell you're not cut out to fight him, don't try to intervene!" He warns.
"I'm with you…seems like you're another variant of me-" Aoi says, moving to stand beside The Chrono-Savior.
"Y'know…I completely fried your jet propellers, Savior. Looks like the rest of this fight his on ground. This is where another version of Aoi dies." The Tyrant grins, his Chrono-Watch infused gauntlet practically leaking with power, but it's a little more uncontrollable, due to The Savior's previous attack.
"I can fight! With you!" Aoi says, getting into a defensive stance.
The Chrono-Savior coughs up drops of blood, his superhero suit is ripped, and he thinks to himself that if Aoi can keep up with this fight, he can be at least a little bit useful..
"Alright..new Aoi, try your best.." The Savior says, preparing once again for another fight.
"Two of me. One pathetic, one delusional. This ends now." Prime Aoi smiles, charging up his Chrono-Watch infused gauntlet.
