Dear Diary,
My name is Everly Houston. I'm your new owner, and I'm so excited for you to become my new friend and writing practice buddy!
My old diary got destroyed when The Rupture happened. It got crushed under a monster's smelly feet. Luckily, Lightning Strike came and saved me and mom and dad before we got crushed too. He's my favorite. (And don't tell anyone, but I have teensy weensy crush on him hehe)
So now, I'll be sharing my memories with you as we live in The Ark!
It's so beautiful here! The Thirteen Stripes Corporation were smart people and knew this crazy stuff would happen, so they built this place. Every house is bigger than our old place! There's pools, malls, restaurants, and ponies and doll stores… It's got everything!
I'm a bit sad though that my dad had to go fight in the Void War. But he's going to be a hero like Lightning Strike, so I'm also happy!
