Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Noah's necromancy

The gods were still at war,

fighting each other for the Throne.

The God of Souls, Psyche, was in the Underworld, commanding his army as he fought against the God of the Sea. Meanwhile, The necromancer named Noah was stalking the gods, stealing the souls they possessed and collecting them to perform necromancy.

He forged powerful cores for corpses and sent them into the war, reviving sea monsters, water mages, ice mages, underworld beasts, and more, using them as undead soldiers.

"Fool. Do you really think you can sneak into the domain of a god and escape this easily?"

said Icarion, General of the 3rd Division of Psyche's army, a powerful mace-wielder standing eighteen feet tall.

Noah gasped.

He summoned Eldric, a swift undead soldier wielding daggers. Eldric dashed toward Icarion, leaping and slashing his chest and eye before teleporting behind him. But Icarion released immense pressure, forcing Eldric to the ground, and nearly crushed him with his mace.

Noah stabbed Icarion's neck. The dagger carried a spell, and Icarion fell unconscious almost instantly.

Noah teleported back to his hideout with Eldric. His undead army was nearly ready to be unleashed against the gods.

Psyche was informed about an unknown necromancer who had infiltrated his domain. Many gods learned of this as well. Noah was now considered a major threat.

"Find that bastard. He's going to cause serious trouble," said Psyche.

Meanwhile, Kyle contacted his father Raizen again through the orb.

"Father, I'm ready to face the gods," said Kyle.

"I know you are. You are now worthy of the Transcendent Plate," Ryzen replied. "Listen carefully. Before the gods were cursed, there was a child who desired to rule. When the gods became corrupted, he learned necromancy. He came to me once, trying to save me, but he failed. I am certain he is still alive. He wants to wipe out the gods not for revenge, but to rule. He is not a mindless monster. He is intelligent, Strategist, and patient. Find him."

Vivi paid close attention, as if she already knew something about this necromancer.

"Yes, Father. I will," said Kyle.

Noah hid his entire army within the shadows and changed his location. Psyche's forces were desperately searching for him.

Soon, Noah faced an entire division. Standing before him was its commander.

Icarion.

"So you've found me? But one division won't be enough," said Noah.

He summoned fifty undead dragons, a behemoth, and Eldric once more. But Icarion was fully prepared.

"You are gonna die right here" said icarion.

Their armies clashed.

Icarion swung his mace at Eldric, but Eldric jumped and released an air slash. It barely damaged him. Noah joined the fight, drawing his legendary Shadow Blade and striking at Icarion.

"You will regret crossing paths with me!" Said noah.

Icarion shielded himself, and the clash released immense energy, sending Noah flying back.

Eldric slashed at Icarion again. Icarion blocked with his mace, but Eldric still landed several cuts. From behind, Noah released another air slash. Suddenly, Icarion threw his mace aside and exploded with overwhelming pressure and energy.

His body changed. He became shorter and thinner, and his eyes turned pitch black.

Noah swung his blade at Icarion's head, but Icarion bent low, delivering a powerful kick that sent Noah flying. He then punched Eldric away. Noah forced himself up as Icarion delivered a side kick at Eldric.

"He is empowered with a swift beast's soul" said noah.

Eldric dodged, and the kick struck a massive rock, shattering it.

They exchanged blows and slashes, blocking and dodging rapidly. Noah joined again, his eyes glowing. When Icarion met his gaze, his vision flashed white he couldn't see.

Noah seized the moment, stabbing Icarion's heart and releasing shadow energy within it, killing him.

Immediately after, Noah revived Icarion as an undead soldier. His dragons and behemoth had already secured victory.

Noah had won, but this was only the first of many battles.

Since he was close to the Sky God's domain, Noah decided to move there next. Returning to the Underworld was too dangerous now that they were on high alert.

"THAT BASTARD! He defeated one of our generals!"

shouted Darius, one of the High Reapers (supreme commander) of Psyche's army.

"Find him and report to me," Darius ordered.

Meanwhile, Noah slipped into the dense clouds from a nearby mountain, searching for the castle of the Sky God, Suiryu.

Kyle and his companions were also climbing the mountain, following Raizen's instructions. Lucy discovered the dense clouds, and they stepped onto them without falling the unique property of these clouds.

Guided by Oni, they soon found a structure. It wasn't Suiryu's fortress, but something else.

Strange creatures hovered nearby.

"Those are Perries," Lucy explained. "They are cloud-dwelling creatures. Some are harmless and fearful, others are deadly. These ones… are not harmless."

A Perri lunged at them. It was massive, with limbs, a tail, wings, and a single eye. It tried to claw them, but Oni kicked it away. It released an energy blast.

"These aren't normal. They're Sylphs evolved Perries. Much stronger," said Lucy.

The Sylphs attacked with thunderbolts and lightning. Kyle countered by throwing dark thunder spheres that exploded mid-air, forcing them back.

Grandpa Caesar, Ace, and Lucy engaged the Sylphs, while Kyle and Oni faced something far more dangerous a Sylph Lord. It had a red eye and spiked armor, forming an energy blast in its mouth.

Kyle hurled a dark thunderbolt straight into its mouth, detonating it from within. Oni formed a hell spear and pierced its heart, but the creature still tried to rise. Kyle finished it with hellfire.

"These Sylphs were weak," Lucy said, "but the ones in Suiryu's army are trained. They'll be far stronger."

"I've fought them before," said Grandpa Caesar. "They can speak, wear special armor, and fight in formations. Suiryu also has a special division called Angels. I know little about them because Suiryu rarely enters war unless it's critical."

"I've seen them," Ace said.

Everyone turned to him.

"When I was lost in the Dark Forest, they were fighting dragons. They had wings, bows, spears, and golden lightning magic. Their attacks were explosive, and they could teleport."

Everyone was stunned.

"I'm not certain they're the same angels Grandpa Caesar said."

Lucy nodded. "So they do come down the reason is unknown, maybe dragon King and god of sky suiryu is having a conflict.

we go there first. We must investigate quietly find where Suiryu is and decide where to strike."

After some time, they finally spotted the fortress.

Meanwhile, Noah was planting explosive spells on the fortress walls, each one ready to detonate with a simple flick of his finger.

Suiryu's end was near.

…Or was it?
