Chapter 158 - Chapter 159: Super Shinra Tensei, Mini Six Paths Chibaku Tensei, Dimensionality-Reduction Strike

"A barrier?"

"A Logia like the Mori Mori no Mi?"

"Idiot, look at that form—do you really think it's the Mori Mori no Mi user?"

"Don't tell me he's a dual-fruit user like Blackbeard?"

"No idea. But one thing's certain—he's an absolute outlier on this sea."

"..."

Staring at the rising red, translucent barrier, the Red-Haired Pirates chattered among themselves, oblivious to how serious things had become.

When Link slowly spread his arms, Shanks' face suddenly changed. He shouted, "No—everyone, defend with Haki!"

But Observation Haki and future sight were useless against Link, and the warning came too late.

After creating a cage that imprisoned Shanks and the others, Link glanced at Momonosuke, whom Monkey D. Dragon had just set down, shifted him away from the battlefield with Amenotejikara, and murmured, "Super… Shinra Tensei."

The familiar white radiance burst from Link's body.

In the next instant, the world before Shanks and the others turned pure white.

The blinding glare made many shut their eyes and clad their bodies in Armament Haki.

"Gale!"

Monkey D. Dragon didn't sit and take it. He invoked the Kaze Kaze no Mi, conjuring a howling hurricane toward Link.

But the greenish wind pressure shattered like dropped glass the moment it formed.

A terrifying, invisible repulsive force flipped everyone below where they stood and gouged another vast crater into the already cratered ground.

Stones and bodies whirled everywhere within the barrier. The hurricane, the repulsion, and the dust twisted into a tornado that drowned the red barrier in gray.

As the twister slowed and began to fade, the gray was suddenly split by azure.

Several colossal waterspouts appeared out of thin air inside the red barrier and raged unchecked.

Their fearsome suction dragged the Red-Haired Pirates—already flung by repulsion—along with Monkey D. Dragon and others into the maelstrom, instantly deleting the Devil Fruit users Monkey D. Dragon and Ace.

Even non–Devil Fruit users like Shanks and Benn Beckman couldn't break free of the waterspouts' pull.

The raging torrents were stronger than the currents of Reverse Mountain.

Even Haki emission couldn't make the waterspouts budge a hair.

The energy within them surpassed the quality of Haki itself.

These waterspouts were Six Paths Sage Art level, products Link forged by infusing Water Release nature transformation into a Spiral Shuriken.

As with how he instantly erased Crocodile, Link first severed the Red-Haired Pirates' retreat with a barrier, then used repulsion and the waterspouts to one-shot the fruit users and temporarily bind the non-users. Only then did he begin the finale.

Link raised his right hand. A black liquid welled in his palm and rapidly formed a black sphere.

Unlike a Truth-Seeking Orb, the liquid inside this sphere boiled like scalding water, constantly bubbling black as if the energy within were desperate to surge out.

The black sphere shot skyward.

When it reached the top of the barrier, it flared with dazzling white light.

At first glance, one might have thought Link was detonating another Truth-Seeking Orb.

But the next second, a pull no weaker than the earlier repulsion descended within the barrier.

Its horrific suction shredded the waterspout cluster that even Haki emission hadn't affected.

Countless tons of water blasted upward.

Along with the torrents, innumerable stones and the very ground—still fracturing—rose, defying gravity.

All of it—water and rock—converged toward the black sphere in the sky.

Whoosh—

A dark-red slash shot out from the surging waters, aiming to smash the black sphere.

But before it could draw near, it was compressed and pulverized by the overwhelming gravity, like being dragged into Teach's Yami Yami no Mi black hole, and dissolved into a storm of dark-red lightning-laced air.

Unable to break the black sphere, Shanks could only be pulled along with his comrades, the water, and the shattered earth toward it.

In an instant it felt like leaving Earth for a world with gravity magnitudes stronger—his body was stripped of control, unable to move.

Outside, within the red barrier, a super-massive blue water sphere now floated.

Beneath that sphere, a gaping cavity opened in the sea.

The terrible gravity had crushed all ground within the barrier to rubble, and even the seawater beneath the island was ruthlessly drawn upward.

One move: Chibaku Tensei.

But this was no ordinary Chibaku Tensei.

It was a super Chibaku Tensei wrought from extreme Yin–Yang power and Six Paths power.

If Link hadn't deliberately restrained it—and if the Four Red Yang Formation weren't restricting it—the gravity would have pulverized the entire island, sucked it into a colossal meteor, lifted it into the sky, continued to absorb meteors in space, and ultimately formed a small moon.

Used as a sealing move on a person, unless the target excelled at undoing seals, even someone on Link's level would be mercilessly one-shot.

Not even Divine Departure wrapped in Conqueror's Haki, nor a Truth-Seeking Orb self-detonation, could destroy the core of Chibaku Tensei.

Even with Link dialing down the power, Shanks and the others—who hadn't reached Six Paths level—were mercilessly killed in an instant.

Link called this technique Mini Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei.

Just three moves—no, a single combo—and Link erased the Red-Haired Pirates led by four top-tier powerhouses.

Whether it was Shanks, whose Haki most closely approached the Pirate King's, Monkey D. Dragon, whom the World Government deeply feared, the sea's keenest mind Benn Beckman, or the inheritor of the Pirate King's Haki talent Ace—in front of this combo they were like the rest of the Red-Haired Pirates, no different from the Mink Tribe and the Akazaya Nine whom Link had also one-shot, utterly unable to resist.

A dimensionality-reduction strike.

Before a God Among Men, whether strong or weak, anyone short of that realm is an ant.

A human crushing an ant takes only the slightest force.

Likewise, Link didn't even need to resort to additional Rinnegan-exclusive dōjutsu to finish Shanks and the rest.
