Chapter 125 - A Misunderstanding and Fellow Sufferers

The dim, cramped storage room.

Even though it was autumn, the air in Smallville Town was still very hot.

Big beads of sweat rolled down Teacher Aikins's wheat-colored skin. She parted her red lips slightly and slowly embraced Kino's sturdy shoulders.

"So, let me give you a reward."

The woman's face got closer, and her legs instinctively clamped around Kino's waist.

Kino stared at Aikins with a smile, and there wasn't a hint of desire in his eyes.

A scent of blood filled the air. Kino could smell that this scent had some special effects, such as stimulating the body to secrete more hormones.

But, Kino still wanted to see what Aikins was up to.

He was looking forward to the woman's performance.

The young man's large hand gently stroked Aikins's soft and fluffy golden hair, his tone ambiguous: "Perhaps, we can try another way?"

"Another way?"

The hand gently pressed down on Aikins's head.

Aikins was slightly stunned, and then, the old pro instantly understood.

The woman frowned slightly; she wasn't sure if she could achieve her goal that way.

After all, her ability required contact with saliva.

But, looking at the handsome young man, Aikins felt that she was giving this kid a bargain, and she wouldn't be at a disadvantage either.

"Alright, what a mischievous kid."

Aikins rolled her eyes, full of charm. She slowly squatted down, her hand smoothing over her floral dress, and the purple fabric beneath was faintly visible.

She grabbed Kino's sweatpants.

They were in the storage room.

A smiling, sly-looking young man and a mature, alluring female teacher, half-squatting…

The atmosphere was getting even more ambiguous.

Her small hand gently pinched the waistband.

Just as Aikins was about to go further, Kino suddenly pushed her away: "Someone's coming."

"What?"

The woman tilted her head, confused, but a girl's voice sounded from the doorway the next second.

"The A4 paper should be here."

"Clack~"

The storage room door opened.

The midday sun shone through the dusty windows of the storage room.

When Chloe walked into the room, she saw a very suggestive scene:

Aikins, her teacher, was disheveled and panting, half-squatting on the ground, while the boy she had a crush on leaned against the table, staring at Chloe with a blank expression.

"You, both of you!"

This sensual scene caused Chloe's brain to short-circuit.

But soon after, Chloe, having regained her senses, was filled with anger and grievance.

"How disgusting!"

Chloe shouted in anger, covering her face to hide the tears that were streaming down her cheeks. She turned and, like a startled rabbit, dashed out of the storage room in a whirlwind.

"She looks very sad, student Kino. Perhaps you should go comfort her?" Aikins stared at Kino with interest, intending to see the young man's reaction.

But to the woman's surprise, Kino was still leaning against the table, seemingly unconcerned about Chloe running away.

"Why should I comfort her?" Kino sneered. "Nothing happened between us."

Aikins was speechless, rendered silent by Kino's shameless words.

If that girl hadn't come, would I have remained innocent? Taking a deep breath and mentally labeling Kino as "incomprehensible," Aikins gave him a long look before turning to chase after Chloe.

Her plan wasn't complete, and she couldn't let rumors of her dating Kino spread around the American Campus.

Teacher-student relationships were strictly forbidden there.

Aikins followed Chloe as she left.

Kino sighed. Chloe's sudden appearance had interrupted his plan. He'd have to find another opportunity to continue his unfinished probing.

He pushed open the storage room door and nearly bumped into someone.

"Watch where you're going, Kino!" Lana glared at him, her expression fiery, as if she was ready to explode. She then strode away angrily.

"What happened?" Kino was somewhat surprised by Lana's behavior. But then he remembered Aikins' actions in biology class that morning, which had caused quite a few of the male students to… well, get excited.

"That can't be…"

"Wait, Lana!"

Sure enough, Clark followed the girl, looking helpless.

Clark followed behind her, constantly explaining, "I just thought the new female teacher was… well, new, and I looked a few extra times."

"Yeah, you were about to split your pants from looking," Lana sneered, then issued her final ultimatum, "Don't follow me. I'm annoyed today."

Clark stopped, defeated.

Watching Lana walk quickly away, Kino glanced at Clark with a look of pity.

The big boy turned around and saw his friend leaning against the wall, smirking at him.

"What a coincidence, Kino," Clark said, a little embarrassed, and scratched his nose.

His girlfriend was in a bad mood today, and Clark decided it was smart not to bother Lana.

The two exchanged a look, understanding everything without a word.

"Yeah, what a coincidence."

Kino shrugged, glancing at the clock on the wall. "School's about to let out. Want to come over to my place for a drink?"

"I'm game." Clark smiled wryly, rubbing his head in slight distress. "I actually have some things I'd like to ask your advice on."

After the incident with the black guy's kidnapping, Clark learned a profound lesson.

If he wasn't smart enough, it was best to listen to other people's opinions.

The two left the campus.

Kino drove his sports car, taking Clark back to Luthor Manor.

Before even entering the manor, a raspy roar echoed from the hall: "I may be blind, but I still have taste! I ordered a medium-rare steak, and you served me well-done!"

Lionel, sporting black sunglasses, was berating the manor's chef.

Kino patted Clark's shoulder. "Maybe we should go somewhere else, your place, perhaps?"

Clark shifted his gaze awkwardly. "I can see you and your father don't get along."

"It's alright, if you saw my brother and his relationship with him, you'd think they were sworn enemies."

Kino shrugged, keeping his distance from Lionel.

But, what you least want often happens.

As if he heard something, Lionel tilted his head slightly, his sunglasses fixed on Kino's position.

"Kino, my little son, is that you?"

Kino sighed, gesturing for Clark to wait for him here.

The young man walked into the living room.

"It's me. What is it?"

Lionel's face curved into a friendly smile, an expression not often seen on his face.

"Oh, Kino, it seems I haven't chatted with you in a long time."

Lionel began to use his rhetoric.

"Get to the point, I have other things to do."

Aikins, this woman was quite valuable, and Kino planned to delve deeper into her. He didn't have time to waste with Lionel.

Lionel chuckled, and the old man nodded. "I understand, I understand. Time is life."

"So, to put it briefly, I need you to do something for me."

Lionel lowered his voice, "Help me investigate what's in Lex's laboratory."

"In return, I can give you ten percent of the company's shares."

Lionel intended to use wealth to bind his youngest son to his service.

He knew Kino's power, and if the other party was willing to help, then, no matter what Lex hid in the underground laboratory, it would be unearthed.

He waited anxiously for Kino's reply.
