Chapter 28 - Sports Time

The bell jiggled, alerting us of the next activity which was sport. A smile tugged my lips as I got on both feet, straightening my long blonde hair along.

Bonnie's eyes were on my neck and with a smile, she said, "I'm glad you were able to conceal the mark. It's quite better this way. At least no one will get so nosy and curious to know who your mate is when they aren't able to see it."

"Thanks for the idea. Come on, let's go for sport,"

"Wait.." I said, stopping Bonnie on her tracks.

"I forgot to tell you. My request to be a part of the cheerleader's team has been approved. I can't wait to Join.."

I disclosed, grinning from ear to ear.

"That's great…You sure are a perfect match for the team, Isabel."

"Thanks.. and urmm. I'd love to get some of my stuff in my locker. I also have to hide this diary as well. I don't want it getting out of my locker. I guess I have to change my keys. Matilda and her gangs are really pissing me off.."

"I hope you didn't write stuff about you and Derek being mates in the diary, did you?"

"No. I - I didn't.. I'm glad I didn't. I'll guess I'll never bring my diary to school again. I don't want what happened to happen again.."

Bonnie stroked my hair and flashed me a warm smile. "It's best if you keep it at home for now. I'll be waiting for you at the stadium. I can't wait to see you join the cheerleader's team. I'm sure you'll look lovely in their costumes,"

"Thanks Bonnie." I squealed before giving her a warm hug. After releasing ourselves from our hug, I decided to ask, "What of Ashley? What do you think we can do to help her? Do you have any idea?"

Bonnie let out a deep sigh before cupping my cheek, her face radiating comfort. "I will see what I can do to help. I'll inform my mom. I think the best way for her to get out of it is if her mom clears her debt, that way Mason won't have any right to control her."

"You're partially right. Even if her mom owes his mom, it doesn't give him the right to use her like his toy. I just hate him more than I ever can.. I wish there's a way we can help Ashley."

"The best thing is if she opens up to her mom or informs some appropriate authority. I'm sure they'll be able to help." Bonnie hinted and I nodded my head, knowing that was a good idea.

In no time, Bonnie and I splitted up as we made our way to our different locations. She went to the museum while I scurried off in order to keep some items in my locker. On my way, I saw Mason smooching with Patricia with his hands grasping her butt. He was In a jersey and a helmet and I knew he was among those who would be playing the football match today.

I sighed as I ignored them. His eyes met mine and I sneered at him. When I remembered what he did to Ashley and how he kept using her like his sex toy, a wave of anger rushed over me.

I ignored them and kept walking to my locker. As I was about to open my locker, I heard screams and squeals from the girls.

Enzo had just arrived and he was in a jersey just like Mason. When the scream continued, I got curious to know what it was all about. I darted my eyes around as curiosity shot through me and then, I saw Derek in a jersey as well, surrounded by multiple girls. He was looking so hot and stunning and his eyes narrowed at Mason and Enzo, the Alpha's son. My brows creased and I flicked my gaze at both Mason Enzo and Derek. Since when did Derek join the football team? Is he playing against Mason and Enzo?
