In the second half of the Grand Line—the New World—lay the closed-off country of Wano.
It was a land with a long, storied history—once sharing close ties with the ancient kingdom ruled by Ghidorah.
That kingdom… had long since withered and faded into obscurity.
And as for the current state of Wano and Momonosuke's role in the original timeline?
Ghidorah found it not only disappointing—but outright revolting.
From high above in the clouds, the island below resembled cascading cliffs and waterfalls, majestic and grand.
There was the picturesque Flower Capital, the desolate wastelands of Kuri, the corrupted prison-mines of Udon, and the ominous skull-shaped island known as Onigashima.
Even without the detour through Doflamingo, Kaidora had always intended to come to Wano eventually.
---
Onigashima—base of operations for the Beasts Pirates, where the one known as "the world's strongest creature," Kaido of the Beasts, typically resided.
Kaido—infamous for his strength—spent his days not only brooding on the island, but also indulging in his favorite pastime:
Attempting suicide.
If not ending his life, he was often on his way to try again.
Kaidora scoffed at such behavior with absolute contempt.
---
As the sun set and dinnertime arrived, Onigashima was buzzing with activity.
Wild laughter, joyous music, and the stench of liquor filled the air—the typical life of a pirate.
But beneath that rowdy cheer was a hidden darkness—one both vile and grotesque.
The Beasts Pirates were not mere brigands.
They were a crew of bloodthirsty monsters, steeped in every imaginable evil.
---
"B-BAD NEWS!!!"
A panicked, high-pitched scream suddenly tore through the festive banquet on the first floor of Onigashima, instantly shattering the atmosphere.
The entire hall fell silent as hundreds of Zoan-type Devil Fruit users turned their heads toward the trembling underling who had just run in.
Under all those eyes, the pirate was visibly more anxious—his legs shaking like waves.
"What's the matter?"
A large, bald, rotund man with sunglasses and black-and-white striped overalls stepped forward.
It was Queen the Plague, one of the All-Stars of the Beasts Pirates.
"L-Lord Queen! I-It's bad—there's something falling from the sky!!"
"Something from the sky?"
"What the hell are you talking about?" Queen frowned in confusion.
Another lackey burst in behind him, tripping on his feet and literally rolling into the hall.
"Wh-What now?"
Queen's expression darkened as he saw the terrified look in the man's eyes.
"G-G-Ghidorah has landed on Onigashima!!"
"EEEHHH!?"
Σ(☉▽☉"a!!
Everyone in the hall stared in horror, eyes bulging out of their sockets.
"All of you—with me!"
Queen shouted, spinning around to lead his men outside.
BOOM!!
A deafening explosion interrupted them as a reinforced wall exploded inward—chunks of stone raining down.
Through the dust and rubble, a monstrous dragon head—different from Kaido's Azure Dragon form—forced its way into the first floor of the hall.
EEEHHH!?
Σ(☉▽☉"a!!
The pirates, barely able to collect themselves from the first shock, were now frozen in sheer terror, their eyes locked on the grotesque dragon's head.
CRACK!
"W-We're doomed!!!"
"I-I can't do this! I can't—I CAN'T—I CAN'T!!!"
As the sound of glasses shattering rang out, Queen's eyes bulged, his tongue rippling like waves, stammering in terror:
"Y-You're… Ghidorah… aren't you?"
The massive dragon's mouth opened, unleashing a wave of blood-soaked breath.
"Lalala… what exactly is going on here?"
"Why the hell is this monster on Onigashima!?"
Queen's jaw couldn't even close—his tongue still wobbling—his voice quivering like crashing waves.
---
"Seriously?"
"This is what one of the All-Stars of the Beasts Pirates looks like?"
Ghidorah stared down at the panicked Queen and mocked him with icy contempt.
---
"You're mocking me—AAARGH!!!"
Queen, enraged, suddenly began to transform—his body inflating and twisting until he morphed into a giant yellow Brachiosaurus.
"YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO MOCK ME!!"
"DISAPPEAR, MONSTER!!"
With a roar, the floor beneath him cracked. The massive dinosaur leapt skyward—nearly crashing into the ceiling of Onigashima—and then slammed down, aiming a crushing blow at Ghidorah's head.
"What the hell kinda move is that?"
"A Brachiosaurus can JUMP that high?"
Ghidorah was genuinely surprised.
---
BOOM!!!
The colossal impact rocked the entire first floor. A cloud of blood mist burst from Ghidorah's head.
---
"Gah…"
In his Brachiosaurus form, Queen shuddered violently, blood spraying from his mouth. His skull felt like it had shattered.
Ghidorah, by contrast, looked completely unfazed, not even remotely hurt.
With a deafening SWING, his hideous dragon head whipped to the side—SMASHING Queen across the hall.
---
BOOM!!!
"Gah—!"
Queen crashed into a stone wall, rebounded, and collapsed to the ground, unmoving.
Another mouthful of blood gushed from his jaws as his eyes rolled back, and he slid lifelessly to the floor.
---
"Q-QU-QUEEN-SAMA!!"
"T-That's terrifying… he—he took down an All-Star in one hit!"
"RUUUUN!!"
---
The entire first floor of Onigashima erupted into chaos.
Panicked pirates fled in all directions, running for their lives.
---
"What the hell…"
Amid the confusion, a cold, vicious voice rang out. Its owner entered the hall, eyes locked on the monstrous head poking through the wall.
"Ghidorah."
"This is the Beasts Pirates' base. Are you trying to start a war?"
The returning Jack the Drought had instantly recognized the terrifying dragon head. His face was dark with tension.
---
"Start a war?"
"The Beasts Pirates?" Ghidorah snorted. "You think you lot are even worth that?"
The contempt in Ghidorah's eyes made Jack involuntarily tremble.
He realized that with Kaido absent, if this beast truly unleashed its full wrath, Onigashima would fall—just like Marineford.
Forcing down his fear, Jack activated his Zoan fruit and transformed into an Ancient Mammoth.
"You're not allowed to rampage here!"
"Just you wait—!"
The disdain in Ghidorah's gaze made Jack furious.
"You know who I am!?"
"I'm Jack the—"
---
BOOM!!
SPLURT!!
Before Jack could even finish, Kaidora spun around and lashed out with his colossal tail—shattering the wall and flinging Jack across the room.
The mammoth's body barreled through several buildings before exploding out of the main hall in a massive crash.
---
"Your strength sucks—and your trash talk's worse."
With Jack down, Ghidorah raised one of his enormous tails again.
With another crashing blow, he smashed through the left half of the skull-shaped mountain—the very structure of Onigashima trembling under the impact.
He roared:
"KING! YOU LITTLE BRAT—GET OUT HERE!!"
