Chapter 78 - Amazing High School Deputy Director

Finally... Aoi Xi was dragged away by the old butler.

The old butlers of the Yunhua Lotus Group were not people to mess with, and this was true for Old Butler Yan, Xiao Yan. He had watched these two siblings grow up. Back then, Yunhua Lotus Group hadn't reached the world-renowned success it enjoyed in the cultivation world back then.

Xiao Yan was a veteran in the group, and had seen so much of the world; it was because of his years of experience that this old butler still remained with the Yunhua Lotus Group despite the fact he wasn't that strong.

"Old Xiao! Let me go! Let me settle it with those two assholes already!"

This was the last thing he said as Xiao Yan dragged him away before he could use his, "Velvet Rose Punch" skill.

He sighed in his heart. This second star was just too young and naïve.

Based on his years of experience, he figured that the person living in this outskirt was definitely terrible.

By the roadside, the two muscular men in aprons whilst one was holding his Thor hammer watched as the black commercial Qiaobaideng limousine drove further into the road, receding in the distance.

"Did we do a little too much? Master likes to stay low, if they investigate him... "

Before pencil man finished speaking, "Don't worry! Haven't you heard about Master's Grand Barrier Restriction Spell?"

"Oh, right!" The pencil man suddenly remembered this fact.

"Well, it has nothing to do with us now... Our master has finished reviewing less or more of his materials. We should go help him with do his homework."

...

It took Xero a full hour and a half to review all the materials. At the same time, he also looked at the next three months of study materials, and sighed in spite of himself. He enjoyed the learning process so much, but he hated that it took him too much time to study; it wasn't hard for him to master these knowledge points at all.

However, while he could master all the knowledge given in a short period of time, he still had to learn how to read the atmosphere in class, find the position that suited him the most, and get average grades. Implementing the "be low-key" principle Father Zhang and Mother Zhang had bestowed on him since he was young... this was just too hard to do!

At his desk, he leaned his head on his palm, while his elbow was propped on his desk. Xero let out a long sigh of relief. It was fine to leave the written work to the demon pencil and skeleton eraser for now.

While Xero was reviewing his homework, Father Zhang hadn't been idle. After a phone call with Jian Beibei, he quickly continued writing his novel.

He was very swift and decisive, his fingers flew around the keyboard with utmost grace.

Just as he was enjoying the process and was brimming with inspiration, his phone rang.

He frowned slightly — he didn't like the feeling of getting interrupted, but when he glanced at the caller ID, he immediately accepted the call and put it to his ear.

"Hey Lovely Expert. I'm writing at the moment. Did something happen?" Other authors liked to call Chief Ziyang, "Jian Beibei" but Father Zhang had a special nickname, Lovely Expert.

When Xero lay on his back, on his bed, he took out the ear plugs and immediately the sounds of people talking swarmed in his ears. Even before he opened his eyes, he could hear the conversation Jian Beibei and Father Zhang were having as the voices of the two men flowed into his mind.

"Brother Ouyang... Your book is going to break the charts!" On the other end of the call, he shouted excitedly.

"I just uploaded the first chapter of your book on the VIP website. Guess what? Less than an hour later... it exceeded two hundred thousand clicks! The first chapter has a positive review, of eighty percent!" Jian Beibei was real excited.

Outsiders may not be fond of these concepts, but it needed to be explained that there were eight hundred thousand veteran readers with accounts more than a hundred years old who were registered on this seperate VIP website set up by the Xianxia Reading Network. Moreover, the registration mechanism had been idle for years. Of a total of eight hundred thousand users that had access to this website via being VIP readers, half of them had read Father Zhang's new novel! Also worth mentioning, the review rating has surpassed the normal level, it was ranked one!

Father Zhang was initially happy with this news, but due to his character he didn't make it too obvious. "Obviously. The market demands more clicks."

"Brother Ouyang... don't be so meek! Tell me the truth... do you have access to the future?!"

Father Zhang was stunned when he heard this. "Wha!?"

"First it was Eternal Dao, Endless Sky, now your book The Reincarnated Almighty King Livestreamer will also probably be a big hit and break records! I've read a few books about plagiarists from the future coming to the past in order to visualise! Don't tell me you're one of them!"

"... Lovely Expert, if you do that joke again, I'll quit for real!"

"Haha! No, wait! I was kidding!" Chief Ziyang laughed.

Gong Ye had already left; if Zhang Ouyang was driven away, the website would suffer the loss.

On the other end of the call, Chief Ziyang smiled discreetly. "Besides that, there is one more thing I have to tell you."

As Father Zhang listened to Editor Jian speak on the other end to the call, his expression turned a little surprised. "What?! A fan gave me an award? And also straightaway recognised my alternate account for the website in the review section for the new book? You and I only decided on working on this new novel, apart from us both, no one knows about this, not even my old readers."

"Hm. Strange. We could've sworn we investigated the ID and discovered that this user had been inactive for a long time. But at three o'clock in the morning, the account got logged into and someone changed the ID. I suspect that this account wasn't ran in the family, instead a user that bought it."

Father Zhang frowned. Three o'clock in the morning? He remembered at that time, he had been in Little Yun Duo's live gathering ideas for the new novel.

Could this person be one of the audience members?

Father Zhang was a little confused. No one had knew that he would finish the first chapter and post it onto the website. Not even the old readers, so how could it be "leaked"?

F**k! These days, even a webnovelist had jipchak fans?!

On the other side, Jian Beibei calmed down and said, "Brother Ouyang, do you know how much this reader gave you today? It's a whole hundred million reading coins!"

"Fuuuckk..." While writing the latter part of Eternal Dao, Endless Sky all this time, he hadn't encountered such a determined reader. The total income from his novel sales reached a million HNY. After splitting the revenue with the publishing platform, he was able to keep five hundred thousand HNY!

Hearing that someone had gifted him that much, Father Zhang sighed. "What's the reader ID?"

"Uh... Amazing High School Deputy Director..." Jian Beibei replied.

Hearing this, Father Zhang's face turned black as he turned his head to Xero's room. "I see now. I'll call you later."

Saying this, Father Zhang ended the call on his phone. "Xiaoluo! Get your ass over here!"

Xero: "..."
