Chapter 235 - Chapter 234: The Annihilation of the Sky Ninjas

Chapter 234: The Annihilation of the Sky Ninjas

"Sasuke, the Uchiha are also members of the village. You must be mindful of unity," Hiruzen said, trying to teach him about the Will of Fire.

"Hokage-sama, why can the Uchiha be in the standard vest business, but my three clans—the Fish, Bird, and Dog—cannot?" Sasuke retorted. Since Hiruzen had such a misunderstanding, he didn't mind playing along. If they wanted his clans to fight the Uchiha, they couldn't suppress them at the same time, right?

Hiruzen offered unusual advice: "The Uchiha clan has been operating in the sword trade for decades. They have access to the best sources. If you intervene rashly in this business, aren't you afraid of losing everything?"

While the Senju clan was mainly in the real estate business, the Uchiha were in swords. Other clans also had their own businesses; his, like the Sarutobi's, held a monopoly on detonating tags.

Sasuke stood firm: "Only by introducing competition can we obtain the most affordable swords for Konoha, making it stronger. Even if it means a loss, it's worth it."

Just as Hiruzen had squeezed every last drop out of Sasuke, the office door burst open, revealing an enraged Danzo. Seeing Sasuke, his expression softened. "Umino Sasuke, I recognize your Will of Fire. Would you be willing to join my Root as Vice President and help me make Konoha a great nation?"

"Danzo-sama, I would be honored to serve you," Sasuke said, feigning eagerness, but deep down, profoundly anxious.

"No!" Hiruzen shouted, dismissing the proposal. "Sasuke is the leader of the Umino clan. How could he remain hidden within Root? Besides, he has to lead the mobile forces. A corps commander would make better use of his talent."

In the power struggle, Danzo was clearly no match for Hiruzen.

"Sasuke, you have rested enough, so return to the frontline mobile support unit as soon as possible."

"Alright," Sasuke said, feigning dejection and looking at Danzo with a hint of resentment, as if to say: I'll listen to whoever the Hokage is.

He left the office and closed the door just as Danzo entered, his anger flaring, asking Hiruzen why he had unconditionally released the Raikage's son. In the end, the discussion turned into a simple quarrel.

Returning home, he met Taro and his sister-in-law and explained the real estate development. "Sister-in-law, don't worry about the Uchiha. If anything, go directly to the Hokage. He will undoubtedly support us."

After taking care of some family matters, he descended to the underground chamber and, unleashing the Flying Thunder God Technique, arrived at the hidden location of the Angkor Fortress. It was on a secluded island, with its power system undergoing repairs. The Sky ninjas were experts at choosing locations. This chain of islands was a lawless area, inhabited by numerous pirates, whom they had eliminated to prevent a leak.

After teleporting, Sasuke did not attack immediately. To prevent them from activating the self-destruct mechanism, he waited for the perfect tactical opportunity.
