"Hokage-sama, you know all about it. I sold all these shipwreck antiques to a wealthy merchant from the Land of Waves."
Sasuke constantly complained, saying how difficult it was to support his family and that he had used all the money he had left to buy the Senju family's properties and shops.
How could Hiruzen believe him? Every family keeps a little extra food.
"Sasuke, I see you especially like buying houses and shops. I think you're optimistic about the growth trend of our village's real estate market," Hiruzen continued, persuading him. "Buying a house isn't as economical as developing a real estate project yourself. I will approve a plot for you right now, with a fifty percent discount. No, it only costs thirty million ryo. The land on Kagawa Street will be yours."
"That land is in ruins, isn't it?"
"We can tear it down and rebuild it. That land is in the core of Konoha, not much smaller than the Uchiha clan's. Thirty million is a steal."
Hiruzen seemed to have made a good deal. If Konoha hadn't been rebuilding and needed funds urgently, how could he sell such good land at such a low price?

"Hokage-sama, I will undoubtedly be there, so you don't have to worry."
Sasuke's buying spree was incredibly intense. After buying the land, he even wanted to buy the Sky ninjas' flying machines and planned to establish a joint venture with the Teku clan to produce them.
"I already told you, Konoha is an elite ninja and we will not ask for your flying swords," Hiruzen said, not to belittle the quality, but because of the money. Training a single ninja cost a fortune, but equipping them with flying machines would cost enough to train several squads.
Seeing that Sasuke had not given up, Hiruzen began to wonder: "Sasuke, are you not planning to turn the flying machines into standard armor to compete with the Uchiha clan for the vest business?"
