The reception shortly began, Zixuan and Haoran were seated at the grand table in the middle.
Haoran guided Zixuan through the hall, introducing him to people Haoran couldn't care less about. All he wanted to do was end this and be done with it.
Till Haoran finally took him to where his and Haoran's parents were seated.
"Here are the latest couple of the day," Mrs. Li said with a teasing tone.
"Yes, the only couple where one of the grooms was forced into marriage," Zixuan muttered under his breath, only to receive a warning look from Mrs. Fu.
"Watch your mouth," Mr. Fu warned, noticing his wife's expression. Why couldn't his son be obedient and stop giving his wife things to worry about?
"I'm sorry," Zixuan responded, waving his eyes in surrender like he was innocent.
Facing Haoran, he leaned closer so no one could hear him. "I want to use the restroom."
"Ok, I will go with you," Haoran nodded, about to leave with him.
