The investigation didn't stop there. He went through the list of people he had blacklisted. With a sigh, he tapped on the number saved as "Anran."
It took five to six rings before the phone was picked up.
Silence.
"Is he with you?" Haoran sharply asked.
"It's really you, Haoran," Anran replied, shocked. Before answering, he had spent almost three minutes staring at the screen, expecting to see a different name.
But nothing had changed.
The name Haoran was still on the screen.
"Yes. Is Zixuan with you?" Haoran repeated, uninterested in starting any conversation apart from matters concerning Zixuan.
"No. I've been in the Fu mansion for days, but I haven't seen Zixuan since that day."
"Ok."
You know the drill.
He hung up straight away, his third call cut off without hesitation.
"He is really missing," he whispered.
Now he was starting to doubt if Zixuan had actually run away.
