Aveline waited for the shock to wane from Seth's face, before she signed to him again.
"Please help me."
"Scorpion, why is it so silent in there? What did you do to the girl?"
Seth quickly jumped to his feet, and put a distance between them as he heard footsteps approach.
"I know she's pretty, but don't tell me she has succeeded in charming you," the voice from earlier became even more audible and irritating, as its owner walked into the room.
The switch once more went off in Aveline's head, and in a beat, she burst into tears.
"You really will just keep me here despite how much I've pleaded with you to let me go? What have I done wrong to deserve any of this?" She cried out.
"Scorp, is she okay?" He looked at his comrade with a gaze full of confusion.
"Rex, I told you she's a psycho. She refused to say a word to me, and then just like that, she starts to cry? That's a psycho bitch."
