Aveline snatched her purse from the couch, and ran up the stairs.
The first room she saw, she dashed in and shut the door behind her.
Pulling out her phone again, she read through the message.
Who are you?
She questioned over and over again in her head, as her heart pounded heavily.
Her back slid down the door, and crashed to the ground.
Another buzz followed.
Hastily, she looked at her phone. It was a new message from Riley.
She exhaled, and opened the text.
Riley: "You should absolutely visit the sea. It's beautiful."
"I will. Thank you."
She pushed her phone to the side, and breathed out.
"It's okay Aveline. Maybe someone is just playing a trick on you. Everything is fine. It's alright." She bobbed her head.
Aveline remained in that position for a little while, before she gathered enough courage to stand to her feet.
She opened the door, and stepped out to find Atlas approaching.
"Hey, I was looking for you. Is everything okay?" He asked.
"Uhmm yeah."
