"Why are you calling by this time of the night, Seth?" She said immediately she answered, worried lines spreading all across her forehead.
"You're not hurt, and you sound bright. I guess your man didn't raise his voice at you, or talk badly, huh?"
"And you sound chirpy. Besides, why would he do that?" She scoffed.
"Yes I am chirpy. Your guy is so rich, he checked me into a whole house. Not a guesthouse, but a house. And I thought he was a violent prick because of how hard he punched your other guy. But maybe he's just really jealous and possessive."
"Okay first of all Seth, I don't have another guy. Landon was my best friend when I still lived in France. And there's nothing jealous or possessive about Atlas. I'm not that important to him for him to be any of those things towards me. Lastly, what do you mean he checked you into a house? What were you even doing at the club?"
"Did you forget about me? Because I was wondering why you hadn't called to ask this same question."
