Faiza Marek sashayed into the private area of the restaurant, and went straight to the table she had booked ahead for.
On arrival, she met the girl she planned to see already seated.
"Laura Hill?" She questioned as she slid into an empty seat.
Laura smiled proudly. "That's me," she confirmed.
The waiter came along, and they made their orders.
"You are very beautiful," Laura said, after their meal was brought to them, and they began to eat.
"I am? You're nice," she said as if she was surprised by the fact.
"I am when it comes to beautiful and powerful women like you. Maybe one day, I can get to your level."
"Oh darling, you'll need a couple million dollars to get to my level. But like you said, maybe one day." She faked a smile.
Laura felt as if she had just been disparaged, but she couldn't bring herself to feel bad.
Something told her she had a lot to gain from this Faiza Marek who had been contacting her nonstop for the last one week.
