Aveline, seated on the floor in front of her wide opened closet, reached in and pulled out a big box..
She took a deep breath, before she began to open the box.
When the last tape slid out, she opened the wings of the box and took one peek into it.
She inhaled as the earthy smell of the old painting drifted into her nose.
"The avalanche," she muttered.
Footsteps began to sound behind her and she swiftly covered the wings.
"Aveline?" Joanne called out to her.
She snapped her head behind to see her walk into the room.
"I have a message for you," she was saying when she paused. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing," Aveline faked a smile.
She dragged the box back into the closet, and then rose to her feet.
"What message do you have for me?"
Joanne still had her doubts, but it melted away when she thought of the news she was about to deliver.
"From Mr Atlas. He says you should get ready in casual clothes. He's taking you out."
Aveline's eyes widened. "Taking me out? Where to?"
