Aveline tried Atlas' number for the fifth time.
She sighed, and plopped on the big couch in the living room when he still did not pick up.
When he had left earlier at the request of his mother, she thought she was being dramatic by thinking she wasn't going to be seeing her husband for the rest of the day.
And now she had been proven right.
"The dangers of loving a mama's boy," she whispered, shaking her head.
Her eyes went to the notifications on her screen.
She wished he would just call to tell her not to wait up for him. Or at least send a text message.
"Should I call her and ask for him?" She wondered aloud.
There was a reason she stayed away from Nadia. She didn't need a fortune teller to tell her that if she made that grave mistake, Nadia would forever use it to massage her ego.
"Ugh, I hate this!" She groaned, burying her face on the throw pillows.
One hour later, Aveline was pacing back and forth in the living room.
"You're still not asleep Ave?"
