It was an hour later, Aveline calmed down enough to leave her room.
The moment she walked out, she saw Harry coming out of a room.
"Hey," he said as he walked over to her.
"You're still here?" She eyed him cautiously.
"Yeah I stayed back for Theo. He's sleeping in the room I just came out of. Atlas is in his room too," he explained.
"I don't know how to deal with drunkenness, because I barely ever get drunk, and when I do, I make the craziest decisions," she found herself explaining.
"Hey, no need to explain to me. I understand. Are you okay though?"
She looked up at him. "Yeah, why?"
"Nothing," he shrugged. "You've just preferred virtual to physical meetings recently. Hence, my curiosity."
"Is the team complaining?" She questioned in alarm.
"Oh no. Nothing like that. Forget I asked. Everything is fine."
An awkward silence descended at the wake of his words.
Aveline refused to allow it to stretch any further than necessary.
