Chapter 31 - A New Day, A New Me... And A New Ghost?

Sitting in a lotus position, the tall man meditated before a large statue, its imposing manner helping him keep focus on himself, far away from the temptations of the ruinous powers of chaos. Just as he was plunging deeper into his inner psyke, the large monitor before him flashed in a bright green light...

With a large jolt, Shinji leapt from his bed, hands covering his face. Sweat pouring down his face, Shinji wiped it off, hands still visibly shaking. Damn, the Siege of Vraks still comes up time and time again...

Shakinghis head, he got up, expression turning back to normal. Giving his usual stretch, he went down the stairs, ready for the weekend. Just as usual, he gave his morning greeting to his grandfather, uncle Kariya who returned from the hellhole that was his writing room (he became a very successful writer ten years ago, after losing an eye in a 'gas explosion' that occurred when he left for England – Yeah right, as if he was a total dumbass!), his sister Sakura in her little kitty apron, and the tall purple haired busty woman wearing a blindfold–

Hold on, who!?

Taking a double-step back, through his limited Psykic vision, he saw tendrils of purple coming from a ghost-like woman, around 2 m in height, her hands clutching a pair of long needle-like knives tightly, glaring at him.

Damn it, they summoned the Servants already!

Without missing a beat, he sat down at the table, enjoying a plate of bread, milk, and a cup of fresh apple juice. "So Sakura, how's the date plan going then? If you dawdle too much, that landing pad of a sister of yours will snatch our good brownie Emiya father than you can say 'I sniff your underwea– MFHMM!"

Blushing brighter than a ripe tomato, Sakura quickly clamped Shinji's mouth, praying that her uncle did not hear what he said. Seeing him too focused on his conversation with his editor, she gave a sigh of relief, before shoving her runny knife into his lower regions. "Say one more word, and you might be the last of your lineage. Take care of what you say..." Whispering her ultimatum, she quickly did a 180 on her attitude, turning towards Zouken, who came down the stairs, shaking all the way down. "Grandpa, I cooked your favourites: A big bowl of Kasha, with some Syrniki's on the side, along with a large cup of coffee on the side..."

Shaking his head, Shinji focused on his breakfast, no longer focusing on the mini drama occurring right on his doorstep...

All the while ignoring a certain purple-haired busty woman in a short dress, glaring furiously at him

As soon as he shut the door to his room, Shinji quickly turned serious, for he realised the ramifications of what he had just witnessed. Damn, looks like Sakura has become a master of this Holy Grail War. Who and what class is her Servant, that I need to figure it out. I wish I could help her, but...

Remembering what he saw ten years ago, his expression grew stern. I can't just barge in like what I did last time. If I don't take precautions, the denizens of the Wapr might break through again, like what happened last time. Plus, this is her trial...

Sighing resignedly, Shinji turned to the Chat, going into a private room with Guilliman:

[Roboute Guilliman: Yes my child, why have you called me...?]

Taking a deep breath, Shinji revealed a bombshell that shook the heart of the busy Primarch–

[Shinji Matou: Lord Guilliman, I have gotten the thing that can save the Emperor!]
