Jihyun's arms looped around Taewon's neck, his face buried deep against his scent.
His mind wouldn't stop racing.
What am I going to do?
It's my first time with him like this.
Why am I nervous? It's not like I've never slept with someone before but why does it feel so different with him?
Taewon carried him toward the couch, lowering him gently onto the cushions.
Jihyun's eyes stayed shut, tricking himself into thinking he was already on a bed.
He leaned up blindly, lips brushing Taewon's in a nervous kiss.
Taewon smirked at the attempt.
"At least open your eyes."
Jihyun's lashes lifted slowly. The room came into focus, the couch beneath him. His heart stuttered.
Here?
He hesitated, his voice trembling.
"Are we… going to do it here?"
Taewon crouched down in front of him, one knee bent on the floor, eyes locked directly into his. The teasing curve of his mouth only deepened.
"Why? Are you uncomfortable here?"
"N...no,"
Jihyun stammered, heat rushing to his cheeks.
"It's just… the room it's more comfortable."
Taewon tilted his head, gaze sharp but amused.
"Since when do you eat in the bedroom?"
Jihyun froze, face burning.
"It's not… that"
But before he could explain, Taewon pulled out his phone.
"What do you want?"
"Me?" Jihyun blinked, confused.
"I don't"
"Dinner," Taewon cut in flatly, raising a brow. "You didn't eat anything since the afternoon right?.
I already burned one attempt, so don't you want something?"
"Dinner?" Jihyun repeated weakly.
Taewon's lips twitched.
"Yes. Dinner. Why
what were you thinking?"
Realization hit Jihyun like a strike. His ears turned crimson, embarrassment flooding him.
"Yaa! Are you playing with me?"
He shot up, flustered.
"I'm not eating!"
Taewon rose slowly, smile tugging at his lips.
"You really don't want to eat?
I have many options."
Jihyun spun around, glaring.
"Don't start."
"I mean,"
Taewon continued smoothly, holding up his phone,
"I have many options here."
Jihyun puffed his cheeks and turned his face away with a pout.
Taewon stepped closer, turning him gently back around.
His hand cradled Jihyun's cheek, thumb brushing across soft skin.
"Do you know how much I like this pouty face of yours? These lips?"
His tone dropped into a low tease.
"From the very start."
Jihyun's eyes widened at the sudden confession. His lips parted, but he muttered only, "Don't… don't talk to me."
"Okay then,"
Taewon said simply, letting go of his face and turning toward the door.
"I'll go back to my apartment."
Jihyun panicked instantly, grabbing his hand.
"No, I didn't mean"
Before he could finish, Taewon leaned down and pressed a soft kiss against his lips, stealing the rest of his words.
Jihyun's eyes fluttered, then softened into a smile.
Taewon led him back to the couch, sitting beside him as he unlocked his phone.
"Here. Order whatever you want. We'll eat, and then I'll go back to my apartment. I have a lot of office work left."
Jihyun's smile fell.
"No. Please… don't go."
"I have to,"
Taewon replied firmly. His eyes were calm, but there was a flicker of guilt.
"I'll be leaving back to Seoul on Monday, and I'm not done with work here."
Jihyun's pout returned, smaller this time.
"Then I'll go with you."
"OK" Taewon replied,
"Also, Your fridge is empty,"
Taewon countered, a faint smile curving his lips.
"I'll finish my work tonight. Tomorrow, we'll go grocery shopping."
"Fine,"
Jihyun muttered, taking the phone. He scrolled half-heartedly, lips still pursed.
Taewon leaned into his shoulder, letting his head rest there, eyes half-closing with quiet ease.
His voice was a murmur against Jihyun's ear.
"You really make me tired, you know."
Jihyun glanced sideways, startled, until Taewon added softly.
"But you make me comfortable too."
