Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 :" Karl von Marx"

"Ah!! Where am I?? Aren't I supposed to be in a hospital bed?!"

These words were spoken by a boy of average build, but lean.

The boy's words were filled with anxiety.

Because who wouldn't be terrified if they were lying in a hospital and then found themselves in a black void?

That's what happened to Karl.

"Damn it!!"

Carl cursed.

Karl's curse wasn't due to being transported to that void; it was because he knew he was going to die, so he accepted it.

It was due to the life he'd lived.

He was adopted into an orphanage without ever hearing from his father or searching for them.

So Karl had no title to live by.

Carl thought he'd live a normal life with the other children, but he didn't know that the orphanage was a child slavery factory.

Karl spent most of his life performing various types of hard labor, including carrying cement, carrying boxes from one place to another, construction, and other laborious work without receiving any compensation.

The hard labor lasted for twelve years, from the time Carl was six until he was eighteen.

He was only able to survive after the arrest of the orphanage's leaders, or, more accurately, the slave traders.

The authorities provided karl with all his financial and housing needs.

But after three months, it was discovered that karl was suffering from skin cancer.

It was caused by the heat of the places where karl worked.

So he spent his nineteenth year in the hospital, suffering from the pain of cancer.

He even gave up and accepted that he was going to die.

But karl never expected that after his death, there would be a black void.

"Maybe this is just a dream."

After saying this, Karl wanted to pinch himself, but the surprise was...

Karl never felt a hand pinch him, and he wanted to try again.

But... he was sure.

All of Karl's attempts to feel pain failed. His arm was piercing through his body like a ghost.

"You're dead!!"

After Karl had been pinching himself like a madman, he heard a voice that terrified him greatly.

Karl turned around to see the face of an extremely handsome boy staring back at him.

The boy had red hair like the legendary phoenix, and beautiful golden eyes.

"Karl von Marx!!!!"

Karl shouted.

"Yes, so what???" Karl von Marx replied.

Of course, if you died and entered a black void and saw a character from a game you played, you would definitely go crazy.

"Don't be afraid, Karl. You might think I'm just a character from a game you played, or whatever's going on in your head. The point is, I have some things to tell you."

Karl von Marx responded with a very cold tone.

Karl von Marx is actually the villain of a game I played before I was diagnosed with cancer. I must admit, it was one of the best games I've ever played, because after I was freed from that orphanage, I became immersed in the cycle of video games and anime, because they at least changed my miserable life. The problem is that Karl von Marx is the villain in this game, but this game is actually a yuri game, or rather, a game between women, where Karl von Marx is the villain of this story and the one who bullies the heroines.

I didn't like the idea of playing a yuri game, but the game designer told me that there was a wonderful and unexpected ending in this game.

So I played it to find out what that ending would be.

While playing this game, I learned about Karl von Marx, the villain of this game.

In reality, Karl wouldn't have been a villain if it weren't for the intervention of the main character, who stole his fiancée, who is considered one of the heroines.

And of course, Karl von Marx lost all of his allies in this battle. The conflict between him and the main character led him to decide to commit suicide.

Because after the main character entered Karl von Marx's life, his life became like hell, day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute, second after second.

Karl was truly breathing hell in this game.

But the problem is that I was diagnosed with cancer before I knew the ending, because Karl von Marx's suicide was the penultimate event of the game.

Actually, I don't care whether Karl von Marx shares my name or not, because I'm not the only Karl in this world.

"Yes, Karl, you're not the only Karl in this world."

As I was thinking to myself, I heard Karl von Marx's voice speaking.

"What? Can you hear my thoughts?" Karl said fearfully.

"Yes, of course. How can I not hear someone who is me?"

"What?"

After Karl von Marx said these words, Karl was greatly shocked.

"Oh! Yes, actually, the thing I was going to tell you first is that I am your next life, and you are your previous life. In other words, I am you. In fact, Karl, after watching your life or my previous life, I realized one thing: we lived the same life, the same tragedy, the same problems. Only your problems are related to your body, while mine are related to my psychology. So, Karl, I have one request to make of you."

From Karl's Perspective

After Karl von Marx said these words, I was surprised, but I didn't know what to say, but I'll say what's on my mind. Maybe he's listening to my thoughts.

"I'll listen to you..."

"On the condition that I answer your questions. Don't worry, I'll answer them all."

As Karl spoke, Karl von Marx interrupted him.

"Okay," Karl responded with a strange look.

"You have to change the plot of this game," Karl von Marx said.

"What do you mean???" Karl said.

"Well, actually I didn't know my past self would be so stupid, but I'll be patient, actually Karl you will reincarnate in my place," replied Karl von Marx.

"What?? I'll incarnate in your place?? And what will happen to you??"

When Karl said this, it happened...

It cracked!!!

The black void began to crack.

"Damn it!!!" Karl von Marx cursed.

"What's going on???" Karl shouted.

"You'll incarnate in my place," Karl von Marx replied.

"What?? What about my questions???" Karl said.

"I'm sorry, but the laws of space don't allow it," Karl von Marx replied.

"The laws of space??" Karl asked.

"I'm sorry, but I'm making one last request before I disappear."

"Disappear?" Karl said.

"Yes, you're actually a dead body, so I'll become a dead soul, but please, Karl, change the story so you can live with the freedom you so desire."

After Karl von Marx said these words, Karl felt a strange feeling touch his heart.

Because that was Karl's dream.

His dream was to live a normal life, and video games were one way to live that life.

Despite the ridicule of the wise men that led to his cancer diagnosis, perhaps he could fulfill his dream in this game.

"Okay, I agree."

As the void cracked and Karl von Marx's spirit began to disappear,

He looked at Karl with a faint smile and said,

"I am you, and the questions you wanted to ask will find their answers in this world. My last commandment is, beware of Sylvia."

"What? Sylvia???"
