Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: The First Anti-Japanese Leader in the Universe

"Champa, what do you think you're doing?!"

Beerus roared, a purple aura surging violently from his body.

Frieza had once been one of his most trusted subordinates. How could he allow Champa to destroy him? Frieza had worked hard to earn his position!

"Lord Beerus!" "Lord Champa!"

Whis and Vados quickly stepped in to prevent the two deities from clashing.

Vados then appeared on the stage, waved her staff, and healed Gaia and King Shadara, returning them to the Universe 6 audience.

Frieza stood still, watching silently. He had seen the power of destructive energy before. Back when Beerus destroyed planets, it was terrifying. Yet he never expected this fat cat Champa to try and kill him over such a trivial matter.

Broly gritted his teeth and growled, "That fat cat is still as unreasonable as ever. Ready to fight at the slightest provocation!"

Rayden smirked and replied, "Let him show off for a while. He'll be the one in trouble soon."

---

The host rushed onto the ring, microphone in hand, and shouted:

"Universe 6 has only one contestant remaining!"

"Universe 7 has only lost a single contestant so far."

"Can this mysterious fighter with his hands in his pockets turn the tide and eliminate all nine players from Universe 7? Let's wait and see!"

As soon as he finished, the host fled from the crumbling arena.

"Hit! Eliminate him!"

Champa snarled, still furious at Frieza's rampage. If Beerus wouldn't let him destroy Frieza, then Hit would handle it!

Frieza scowled. No one could tell what he was thinking.

Hit didn't bother responding. He just dashed forward and began exchanging fierce blows with Frieza.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

They moved at such high speed that the audience could barely follow. Their fight escalated into the air.

Suddenly, Frieza was sent crashing from the sky.

"What the hell?! Why does this keep happening?!"

Frieza was bewildered. He could see Hit's movements clearly, but every time he prepared to counterattack, Hit struck from somewhere else.

Trunks blinked in confusion. "Uncle Rayden! He's so fast! Did you see that clearly?"

Rayden responded calmly, "It's not speed. It's time."

"Time?"

The group leaned in, trying to grasp what he meant.

Rayden explained, "That technique is called Flash Time. It's a time-based ability. Hit can leap 0.1 seconds into the future, allowing him to strike without opposition. But the drawback is that it doesn't work on opponents stronger than he is."

"Ohhh! So that's how it works!"

Goten's eyes sparkled. "Uncle Rayden, you're amazing! You even know stuff like that!"

Rayden chuckled. "Because I can also use Flash Time."

Vegeta raised a brow. "If that's true, why don't you ever use it?"

"I told you," Rayden sighed, "it doesn't work on opponents stronger than me. Why waste it on weaklings? It's not worth the effort."

Beerus glanced at Hit, intrigued. "Whis, do we have anyone like him in our universe?"

Whis consulted his staff and replied, "Lord Beerus, though we are twin universes, not everything is mirrored. We don't have anyone exactly like Hit."

"Wait!" Vegeta interrupted. "We used to have someone who could control time!"

"Who?!" Beerus turned eagerly.

"He was part of Frieza's army. I killed him."

Beerus deflated. "Why?"

"His power level was in the tens of thousands, and he had to hold his breath to freeze time."

Beerus lost interest immediately.

---

On the ring, Frieza stood tall despite being battered.

"You're persistent," Hit muttered. He was impressed. Most fighters would be down after a few precise hits, especially to vital points. But Frieza endured it all.

Frieza wiped blood from his lip. "I'm the best fighter in the universe. Your little tricks can't stop me!"

"Then let's end this."

In a blink, Hit appeared in front of Frieza and launched a powerful punch.

Bang!

To his surprise, Frieza didn't fly back. Instead, he caught Hit's arm.

"Hohoho! You've had your fun. Now it's my turn!"

Frieza's eyes glowed red. "Ray Eyes!"

Twin laser beams shot from his eyes and struck Hit directly. Though Hit wasn't pierced, he took visible damage.

Frieza wrapped his tail around Hit's arm and began pummeling him relentlessly.

Hit retaliated, and the two engaged in close-range combat.

"Ah! Ah!"

Both fighters were bloodied and bruised.

Frieza laughed, "Now you see my strength! Give up while you still can!"

Hit suddenly shouted, "HRAHH!"

A purple aura burst from his body.

"Frieza, thank you."

"What?!"

"I thought I'd reached my limit. But fighting you helped me realize—I can grow stronger."

[Pure Growth] — When facing formidable opponents, Hit's power rises dramatically, and his mastery of Flash Time improves.

Hit broke free from Frieza's grip and slammed a punch into his abdomen.

"AHHHH!"

Frieza curled up in pain and was sent flying, crashing into the ground.

Coughing and gritting his teeth, Frieza forced himself up.

Hit looked at him with genuine admiration.

"You truly are the universe's best fighter. But I've surpassed you. It's time to admit defeat."

Champa stood, leaning over the balcony.

"Hit! Didn't you hear me earlier? KILL HIM!"
