Chapter 107 - How Am I Supposed To Stay Calm?

Elijah's chest heaved with every drag of oxygen as he tried to get his breath back.

He didn't need to look in the mirror to know that red had crept up his face. The heat still clung to his entire being as Alexei buried his face into the crook of his shoulder.

As if he weren't the one who did it, Alexei aggrievedly rubbed his head against his neck, red strands scraping his jaw and cheek.

His lips were definitely swollen, and the base of his tongue went so numb that he found it hard to speak for a few seconds.

Yet surprisingly, his mouth didn't hurt much.

With how ferocious Alexei looked, Elijah expected him to bite his skin until it bled.

Luckily, Alexei didn't act like an animal, or rather, not a completely out-of-mind wild beast.

"Elijah," Alexei said after a while, his voice hoarse. "Don't do it. Don't make me so crazy for you."

Elijah hadn't trusted him on this not-so-important subject, and that had made him so enraged.
