Chapter 1 - [TP] 1: Ogerpon

"No matter where I go, the air here is so much better than on Earth."

The boy stood at the edge of the forest, looking down at the little creature by his side. "What do you think of this new world, Ogerpon?"

"Bo ne?"

Ogerpon, the legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon games Scarlet and Violet, tilted her head.

Her green body was adorned with white flowers and yellow circular patterns. The outer sides of her legs were black, the inner sides white, with two green leaves sprouting between her toes.

From her appearance, it looked as though Ogerpon wore a green cloak, with large, thorny black vines growing from its upper edge, the topmost pair resembling horns.

Hearing Damien's question, her tangerine-colored face lit up, her starry eyes squinting happily into slits. "Bo ne~ Bo ne um! (New world, Ogerpon likes it!)"

"Good to know you like it."

Damien watched the little creature bounce around, letting out cheerful cries, and couldn't help but smile.

He gently patted Ogerpon's head before opening her status panel.

[Ogerpon]

[Contractor: Damien]

[Race: Elemental Spirit]

[Existence Value (Magicule): 6500]

[Magic: Grass-type Pokémon Magic (Grass-type Moves)]

[Intrinsic Skills: Element Absorption, Ability Enhancement]

[Unique Skills: Destroyer (Possesses the power to destroy any material), Grower (Can grow stronger by defeating opponents)]

"Destroyer and Grower, huh?"

What appeared before Damien wasn't a Pokémon status screen but a panel unique to this world.

A month ago, Damien had awakened memories of his previous life.

In this life, he was a farm boy from a village on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Falmuth.

The Kingdom of Falmuth, located northwest of the Jura Forest, boasted a population of thirty million citizens, plus another ten million from the Free Guild, making it one of the most powerful nations in the Western Countries.

However, life for ordinary civilians in Falmuth was far from ideal.

Falmuth was a feudal nation ruled by nobles. Commoners could barely avoid starvation, existing solely to be exploited by the lofty rulers.

"So, I've been reincarnated into another world?"

From initial confusion to excitement upon hearing the Voice of the World, it took Damien mere minutes to grasp the nature of the world he'd been thrust into.

"The Kingdom of Falmuth, the Jura Forest... these are straight out of Tensuraverse!"

The boy looked identical to Damien from his previous life, just younger, around fifteen or sixteen years old.

As for the reason for his reincarnation...

Damien's final memory was of a truck, its headlights flashing white.

"So, did I soul-transmigrate, or was I reincarnated into this world and only now awakened my past life's memories?"

If it was the former, Damien detected no trace of another soul.

His predecessor's memories, from childhood to now, felt as vivid as his own, without the slightest sense of discord.

"Either way, getting to live again is a win."

With a mindset of making the best of it, Damien began to accept his new identity.

Soon, he realized his status in this world was rather peculiar.

Despite being a mixed-blood Majin... a hybrid of human and Majinkind... his predecessor had inherited little of the Majin's power and faced discrimination from regular humans, making him an outcast in the village.

Fortunately, Damien wasn't entirely without resources.

As a transmigrator, he hadn't awakened a system, which was a slight disappointment, but he did possess a unique cheat.

Back in the present, Damien closed Ogerpon's status panel.

"Open my panel."

With a slight shift of his thoughts, a new panel appeared in his mind.

[Damien]

[Race: Hybrid Majin-Human]

[Existence Value: 3500]

[Magic: Energy Cube Creation, Spirit Space, Appraisal]

[Intrinsic Skills: Adaptability (Your body can adapt to any system's power)]

[Unique Skills: Planeswalker [Exceptional] (You can open gates to unknown worlds and travel through them), Leader (By gaining followers, you can increase your Existence Value), Capturer (Form contracts with other beings, turning them into familiars)]

[Familiars: Ogerpon]

[Marked Worlds: Pokémonverse]

In the Tensuraverse, there existed a peculiar force called the Voice of the World. It provided feedback whenever an individual underwent changes, acquired skills, or experienced skill evolution.

In short, the Voice of the World could be understood as the rules and system of this world.

Whenever you gained a new skill or underwent a significant change, as long as it resonated with the world's strings and left a mark, you would receive the world's blessing.

Damien possessed three Unique Skills: Planeswalker, Leader, and Capturer.

The first, Planeswalker, likely tied to his transmigrator status, carried the suffix [Exceptional].

[Unique Skill: Traveler]

Grants the ability to leave the Central World and travel between planes or planets within the Tensuraverse.

[Planeswalker [Exceptional]

Damien's Unique Skill took Planeswalker further, allowing him to break through world boundaries and visit other universes.

The Tensuraverse was vast, divided into three main parts:

"The material world, devoid of Magicule."

"The spiritual world, purely of Magicule."

"The chaos world, blending material and energy."

As Damien examined his attributes, he explained the basics of this new world to Ogerpon. "The chaos world varies based on the concentration of Magicule... high, medium, and low."

Earth, where the original protagonist Rimuru had lived before reincarnating, was a material world without Magicule.

The world Damien now inhabited, home to Demon Lords and the Voice of the World, was the pinnacle of chaos worlds.

Known as the Central World, it served as the cornerstone and hub of the material, spiritual, and chaos world systems.

Moreover, because the Central World was constantly bathed in high concentrations of Magicule, its very essence had undergone profound changes.

"Bo ne?"

Ogerpon bent down, her small hands poking at the soil and stones on the ground before tilting her head. "Ogerpon thinks this place doesn't feel much different from the old world."

"That's because you've gotten stronger, Ogerpon."

Damien said, "Every blade of grass, every tree, even a grain of dirt here is far more durable and solid than in other worlds."

To put it simply, while humans in the Central World and on Earth might look and function similarly, their physical capabilities were on entirely different levels.

A force that could destroy a kilometers-wide area on Earth might only create a hundred-meter crater in the Central World.

This was the confidence that allowed Damien to travel between worlds without fear of instant death.

Though he was merely an E-rank human boy in the Central World, in the Pokémonverse he'd just visited, he was a super rookie among super rookies.

"I get it now!"

Ogerpon's eyes lit up with realization. She stood and looked at Damien with admiration. "That's why Damien is so amazing! Zip, zap, zoom... you took down those bad guys for Ogerpon!"

What Ogerpon referred to was Damien's first journey.
