Merida's POV
The alarms continued their shrieking assault on our ears as armed personnel flooded into the observation room beyond the glass. I could see them moving with their weapons raised, shouting commands I couldn't hear over the noise.
Lorren didn't waste time. Her translucent form flickered as she moved to where the boys were still unconscious, her ghostly hands touching their foreheads. She was pulling them through the dream realm, dragging their consciousness back to the surface.
Elias jerked awake first, his eyes snapping open. Ronan followed a second later, immediately assessing the situation. But Dante, poor Dante woke up screaming.
"WHAT THE HELL? WHERE ARE WE? WHAT'S HAPPENING?"
The slap echoed even over the alarms. Elias's hand connected with Dante's face hard enough to snap his head sideways.
"Shut up!" Elias growled. "We need to move. Now."
