"Huh! I'm so damn tired from today's office work. Man… I need something good to watch."
Just then, the doorbell rings.
A delivery guy hands over a box and walks away.
"Huh? I didn't order anything… there's not even a company name on it. Oh wait—something's written on the box... 'N-E-N-O Lens'? So, some kind of eye lenses?"
"Whatever. Let's try them on and see."
Karn Sharma walks into the washroom and puts the lenses in his eyes. He looks in the mirror.
"Hmm… they're on, but I don't see any difference. Wait, my eyes look green now…"
"Let me take them off. Probably not allowed at work anyway."
Suddenly, his eyes start to burn.
"Aghh! What the hell?! It's like someone poured chili powder into my eyes!"
"Damn it! I'm such an idiot... putting something in my eyes without even knowing what it is!"
After a few moments, the burning fades.
He sighs in relief.
"Huh? My eye color's back to normal… it's like I never wore anything at all."
"Whatever. I've got to get up early for work. I'll think about it later."
> "I'm just a normal guy… trying to make money and survive in this world.
> In a place like this… if you don't earn, even your own people leave you behind."
He lays back on the couch and drifts off to sleep.
---
The next morning, Karn rushes to work without eating.
As soon as he enters the office, he notices something strange—everyone is staring at him.
"Why are they looking at me like that… like they've seen a ghost?"
One colleague nervously says,
"The director wants to see you... right now."
Karn heads toward the director's office, confused.
Inside, the director sits with a police officer beside him. Both of them look tense.
The director glares at Karn.
"Karn Sharma… do you have any idea what's going on?"
"I-I just got here, sir. I don't understa—wait… what the hell?!"
Karn's voice fades.
He sees something above the director's head:
His name, age, and strength level floating in the air.
Startled, Karn turns to the officer.
"Inspector! Do you see anything above his head?"
The officer frowns. "What are you talking about?"
The director snaps,
"Karn Sharma, are you trying to be funny?"
"No, sir! I swear… I can see your personal information… floating right above your head!"
The director slams the table.
"Stop this nonsense! Speak clearly!"
Karn stutters, mind racing.
{ I can see this… it's real… but how do I even explain this? No one will believe me. }
The director sighs heavily.
"If you're trying to change the topic, it won't work."
The officer suddenly cuffs Karn and declares him under arrest.
"Wait! Why are you arresting me?! I haven't even—!"
But before he can say more, Karn collapses, unconscious from hunger.
---
30 minutes later – Police Station
Karn slowly regains consciousness.
He tries to move but can't—heavy chains are strapped to his hands and feet.
His stomach growls in agony. He can barely speak.
But his eyes remain open.
Footsteps echo.
A man steps into the jail cell… right in front of Karn.
The moment Karn sees his face, his heart begins to race, and tears roll down his cheeks.
He stares in disbelief and chokes out—
Why… why did you do it? Arjun Sharma…?
The man smirks.
"My dear elder brother… did you really think putting me in jail would save you?"
"My name isn't Arjun Sharma anymore. That name was given to me by your dead parents."
"My real name… is Vardaan."
---
Karn loses consciousness again.
And suddenly—memories flood in.
> Flashback – Age 7
> A family trip. Delhi. Red Fort. India Gate.
Karn and Arjun's parents plan a vacation.
They board a plane to Delhi, excited and joyful.
But mid-flight, something goes wrong.
The plane begins to shake violently. Panic spreads.
The pilot announces,
"Emergency! Everyone, grab a parachute!"
But… only two parachutes are missing.
There's one spare, kept for emergencies. The pilot hands it to Arjun and says,
"Tell your parents. Quickly!"
But Arjun… freezes.
His body stiffens. His eyes darken. And then—he smiles. Evilly.
The pilot flinches.
"What the hell… that smile… from a kid?"
Suddenly, Arjun shoves the pilot out the emergency exit—and takes his parachute too.
Karn watches the entire thing—frozen in fear.
Moments later, their parents arrive, unaware.
They see Arjun holding two parachutes.
Without knowing the truth, they strap one on each child—and jump.
All four survive.
But after that day…
Arjun started behaving strangely. Silent. Distant. Sometimes terrifying.
Concerned, their parents decided to enroll him in a boarding school.
On the day they were driving Arjun there… something happened.
A dark glow appeared in Arjun's eyes—a mysterious force caused the car to crash.
Both parents died.
Karn never knew what really happened.
But deep down… he always suspected Arjun.
He just didn't have proof.
Until now.
---
The flashback ends.
Karn opens his eyes again.
But now, he's back in his room.
He checks his arms and legs—no chains. No bruises.
He runs to the mirror.
Above his head… his name, age, and stats are still visible.
"What… the hell… is happening?"
Suddenly, a blue digital window appears before him.
