Chapter 33 Writer's POV
I slept fitfully, my mind still reeling from the king's plan and the weight of the lies I had to tell. But as I drifted off, Amanda's presence was a constant, a soothing balm to my frazzled nerves.
As I slept, Amanda's arms wrapped around me, holding me close. I felt her warmth, her love, and her protection. She was my shield, my refuge from the world.
I didn't stir as she gently stroked my hair, her fingers tracing the contours of my face. Her touch was gentle, soothing, and I felt my body relax into hers.
As the night wore on, Amanda's touch became more intimate. She kissed my forehead, my cheeks, and my eyes. Her kisses were soft, gentle, and full of love.
I stirred, my eyes fluttering open as I met Amanda's gaze. She smiled, her eyes shining with love and adoration. "Baby,I want you" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
I swallowed hard, my heart full of emotion. "I...I..hmm," I tried to say something but couldn't find my voice.
Amanda's arms tightened around me and pulled me closer me. " Baby,my little mate,I want you, Amy needs you, please" She frowned and turned away from me.
As the night,wore on I couldn't sleep, she slept on her side, silently without saying anything to me. I became restless knowing she's unhappy. I felt sad and whispered to her. " Amanda, please don't me mad. I'm not just ready, please understand" I explained but no response. That was how it was the whole night.
The next day,I didn't see her by my side, she left. I tried finding her but I couldn't find her. I felt sad, I'm not sure if I'm ready to mate,I'm scared,I have doubts and fear that I can't pinpoint.
