Chapter 82 Writer's POV
Aurora enters the palace with a fearless expression, her eyes blazing with defiance as she glances around at the stone walls and the people watching her, including the queen and king seated on their thrones. The atmosphere in the palace becomes tense as everyone becomes bewildered by Aurora's bold demeanor. Amanda, along with other family members, is present in the palace. The queen looks on with concern for her daughter Aurora, while the king's expression is stern.
Aurora doesn't back down; she fights against the guards who try to subdue her. With her dark powers surging, she battles fiercely, throwing off a few guards. "You'll not take me!" she growls. The guards struggle to contain her, but eventually, they manage to overpower her and bind her with heavy chains that dampen her powers. As the chains bite into her skin, Aurora screams in pain, her fearless facade faltering under the agony.
In pain and weakened, Aurora looks up at Onyi and Amanda, who are standing together, Onyi in Amanda's arms. Amanda's face is pitiful, filled with worry for her twin sister. Onyi looks on, his expression tense. Aurora doesn't know who her mate is, but seeing Onyi with Amanda sparks a mix of emotions in her.
"I... I don't know who my mate is," Aurora says through gritted teeth, pain evident in her voice. "But seeing you two like this... it feels... strange." Amanda's expression turns firm despite her worry.
The queen rises from her throne, her voice a plea. "Stop this, daughters. We need to think of what's best for everyone."
Amanda's eyes are filled with tears watching her sister in pain. "Aurora..." she whispers. Onyi's face is tight with concern, still held in Amanda's arms. The scene is pitiful, with Aurora chained and in pain, and both Amanda and Onyi looking on in distress.
