Chapter 90 Writer's POV
Onyi's behavior becomes increasingly strange as the days go by. He's often lost in thought, his black eyes gazing into a distance that no one else can see. Sometimes Amanda catches him talking to himself in low whispers, words she can't quite make out. This behavior makes Amanda more and more worried about Onyi's state.
Amanda tries to talk to Onyi about what's happening to him, hoping to understand and help him through the changes. "Onyi, what's going on with you?" she asks, her voice filled with concern.
Onyi looks at her, his black eyes intense with a mix of emotions. For a moment, it seems like he's about to reveal something significant. But then he just shakes his head, his expression vague. "I... don't know. I hear things. Feel things. It's like the darkness is... pulling me," he says before falling silent again.
Amanda's worry about Onyi grows. She sees the struggle in him, the way his black eyes seem to hold a darkness that's affecting him deeply. She wants to help him, to be there for him through this transformation. But Onyi's reluctance to talk about what's happening to him makes it hard for her to know how to help.
Meanwhile, the threat of Aurora bringing back Xerxes looms over the kingdom. The king is taking steps to stop her, advised by the witches Aria and Lena about the dangers of Xerxes' return. But Onyi's personal struggle with darkness adds a complex, personal element to the larger threat.
