Chapter 19 - Blood disaster chapter 19(the truth behind the ceiling)

A knock came from the office door.

It was Mr. Kimcen, nicknamed Detective Invisible.

I welcomed him with a very humble and respectful manner because he was one of the most professional detectives in Cancer City.

I told him everything about my life and what had recently happened, but he told me not to worry.

"Everything will be okay."

I explained what had happened in detail, from my past life to the present, including the war in our generation and the blood disaster that had been rolling through our lineage.

He told me he was a bit suspicious of my wife and anyone close to me.

He asked, "Whenever this happens, does one person disappear, and when that person appears, does an incident occur?"

"Yes."

"And there is also something you don't know. I need to explain."

Ashley had kept seeing an anonymous person, but I had assumed it was nothing.

Detective Invisible promised me that within three days, I could have the answer.

I was very happy because I knew Detective Invisible never failed at any task. He was the most powerful and feared person of this era.

I called my secretary and told him to hold a members' meeting.

The main agenda was to raise the payment for every worker, so we could keep pushing their morale in the middle of the meeting.

Then, a call came from home.

The maid again.

She said, "Ashley is sick."

My happiness dropped to zero, and I rushed to the hospital.

Maria had already taken her there.

Panicked and afraid of losing my child, I angrily told the doctor, "You must save my daughter, or I will destroy this hospital!"

Then I turned to Maria, but she was so docile that I wasn't able to raise my voice at her.

I thanked her and asked, "What happened to Ashley?"

She told me, "When I was coming from buying breakfast, I found her lying down, with Jude crying beside her. There was foam on her mouth."

"I then rushed her to the hospital."

As she was narrating, a green light appeared from the ICU door.

The doctor said, "She is now in good condition, and you can go and see her."
