Chapter 64 - CHAPTER 64: QUEEN OF ASHES..

---

Scene: Bangkok Skyline – Night

From the top floor of The Black Rose Holdings, Rose looked down at the glittering city like a goddess reborn in vengeance. Her crimson suit matched her lipstick—sharp, lethal, and screaming power. Behind her stood an empire she built from scratch.

Rose was now a billionaire.

And all that wealth?

Not for love.

For revenge.

> "Love is weakness," she whispered to herself.

"And I was done being weak the day Rin left me."

---

Flashback – Three Years Ago – New York

Rose stood outside a courtroom, her father's suicide still haunting her, her family's name reduced to whispers in financial tabloids.

> "You're the daughter of that fraudster," someone muttered.

She remembered clenching her jaw, filing lawsuit after lawsuit, learning how to destroy people the legal way—and sometimes not-so-legal. Her heart turned cold, but her mind became sharp.

> "I'll rise," she had said. "And when I do, I'll burn them all."

---

Present – Secret Strategy Room, Black Rose Holdings HQ

She tapped her red nails on the table as her assistant brought her a dossier.

Target List:

1. Rin Akarin – For betrayal.

2. Nari Wattanachai – For being the price of that betrayal.

3. Mr. Wattanachai (Pete's father) – For destroying her family.

Pete wasn't even on the list.

> "He was innocent," she said, shrugging. "But now he's in the way."

> "What about Mek?" her assistant asked.

Rose's eyes narrowed.

> "Collateral. He'll break when Pete does."

---

Scene Shift – Pete & Mek's Apartment

Pete: pacing like a caged lion.

Mek: leaning against the kitchen counter, arms folded, eyes serious.

> "Do you think she's really going after your family?" Mek asked.

"I don't think," Pete snapped. "I know."

> "She has money now. Power. She's not the same girl you once knew."

Pete stopped pacing. He looked at Mek, desperation in his voice.

> "Then we fight."

Mek raised a brow. "Us? Against a billionaire villainess with the wrath of a thousand heartbreaks?"

Pete stepped closer, his voice softer.

> "Not just any us. You and me. I don't care if the world burns, as long as you don't leave my side."

> Mek sighed, then smirked. "Tch. You're lucky I'm into chaotic men."

---

Scene: Rose's Private Vault – Same Night

She opened a hidden drawer. Inside were three items:

1. A torn photo of her and Rin.

2. A necklace gifted by Pete's sister when they were young.

3. A sealed envelope addressed to Mr. Wattanachai.

> "Time to return the favor, Uncle," she whispered.

"You killed my father with lies. I'll kill your legacy with truth."

---

Final Scene:

Rose stood at a podium in a press conference the next morning, wearing black and gold.

> "Today, I announce the takeover of three major Wattanachai subsidiaries under Black Rose Holdings."

Gasps. Camera flashes. Panic behind the scenes.

She smiled.

> "This is just the beginning."

And as she walked off-stage, reporters screaming her name, her eyes sparkled.

Not with love. Not with pain. But with victory.
