Chapter 52 - CHAPTER 52: FIRST DISCIPLE

CHAPTER 52: FIRST DISCIPLE

Everyone held their breath, while waiting to see what Adrian's next step was, the atmosphere had changed completely, they even felt the need to take out a weapon to feel protected.

Seeing that things were getting a little out of control, Misa sighed and began to speak.

"It was more or less 8 months ago, we were touring the coasts of Bartolomeo, we were looking for a unique artifact, which would help us in our cultivation, everything went according to plan, we managed to enter the tomb that the expert had left, we thought that no one had followed us, but we were very wrong, others were also behind this artifact, we were ambushed, and injured in the process, but while trying to escape, Bai Guoer was captured by the first disciple of the Sixth Church and he began to ..."

"Wait!" – Before Mass could continue, Bai Guoer suddenly stood up and closed his mouth.

It seemed that when the first disciple of the sixth church was mentioned, it was as if he couldn't bear to hear that name, he woke up instinctively and quickly shouted for his elder brother not to hear.

Misa closed her mouth, she really didn't want to tell Adrián this.

Bai Guoer put on a furious expression, so everyone put on somewhat uncomfortable smiles, at least the pressure in the environment calmed down, and everything went to their rooms.

In the room only Bai Guoer and Adrián remained.

Adrian frowned, he really wanted to hear what had happened. But she couldn't force Bai Guoer to tell it, so she just waited for her to start telling it.

Bai Guoer was only a child, although she had grown a little older than her age, and looked like a lily wearing a maiden, even her childish appearance had stolen the hearts of many men.

She sighed, she never thought she could fall asleep, but she felt great relief at the sight of her older brother, when she finally saw him, it was as if a burden had disappeared from her body.

Bai Guoer had always trusted him, but she didn't want to get him into trouble, it could be said that she owed him a lot, since they met, her brother had helped her in everything.

Even in a life-or-death situation, before he lost consciousness he could see how his older brother faced two all-powerful demons alone, even managing to win. P

but for that reason he had been left in such a bad state, trying to recover.

Now her reason for not telling her what was happening was the same reason for which she felt guilty.

"Who is it?" – Adrian asked, he only had a half-way conversation with Misa, but he could find out something, after all, they had all behaved strangely today.

"Oh, that, it's nothing Big Brother, you don't need to worry, how about tomorrow we go on a mission! I'll show you everything in detail!" – Bai Guoer tried to deflect the subject, wanting him to stop and forget about the matter.

Adrian would never forget the person Mass had mentioned to him, the first disciple of the sixth church, although he didn't know his name, he thought it best to ask Bai Guoer directly.

"Who is the first disciple of the sixth church?" – Adrian asked again without hesitation.

He wanted to see if he could get any reaction. And he succeeded.

When he was mentioned, Bai Guoer's expression changed a little, it was only an instant, but he could see how his face changed to a look of... hopelessness.

"Ah, the, it's just... it's just..." – It seemed that the more she remembered, Bai Guoer couldn't think clearly, she held her other arm, and bit her lips.

Adrian didn't know it was happening, but he could feel, thanks to his mask of the heavenly devil, the lingering fear in his younger sister.

It was a fear which could only be recorded by a traumatic event, after all Bai Guoer was only 11 years old.

But what could he have done to cause such fear, or such fear in a person.

When Adrian witnessed this, he clenched his fists, in which his aura began to accumulate.

Adrian was never really impulsive, and he always tried to dig deeper into his thoughts before acting, but now for some reason, he was now only thinking about finding that first disciple of the Sixth Church.

When he got up, his aura began to emerge all over his body. His dagger and sword were ready to come out of his shadow at any moment.

Bai Guoer at that moment clung to his elder brother instinctively.

"Don't go" – was what he said in a shattered voice, just hearing it, made Adrian's temper soar, but it stopped anyway.

If you could see it in the distance, Ana and Misa were close to the stairs, watching from afar as the situation unfolded. Like Carlos and Simon, it seemed that if Bai Guoer said to stop his elder brother, they would definitely do so.

Adrian didn't understand much about life itself, he just wanted to become strong enough not to depend on anyone else, and if he could, to be able to resurrect his parents.

But, as his life continued to move forward, and he met multiple people, he began to understand that it was not only about himself, he lacked a family, and he formed them into those he met along the way.

Maybe he only did it so as not to feel alone, he didn't know for sure.

But, she could not let her younger sister suffer, after all, Adrian had promised to protect her, although not even he understood why he did so much, when he only had to prioritize his life.

"Why?" – It was another question that came out of Adrian's mouth randomly, it was something basic, but it implied many things, many questions that still had no answer.

Bai Guoer hugged Adrian and from his back, multiple tears began to fall from his face to the ground.

"Master Sonu... he is dead"
