Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 : The black eclipse

The skies above West City were clear only moments ago. Now, they boiled with dark, swirling clouds as if the heavens themselves were mourning.

Atop the Capsule Corporation tower, Bulma looked up from her workbench as the temperature dropped. The sun dimmed unnaturally. The air… turned still. A deafening silence rolled across the city like a pressure wave.

Piccolo, meditating high above the cliffs outside the city, opened his eyes.

"Something's here... something vile."

Inside Gohan's home, Pan was giggling mid-air, balancing herself while her father coached her from below.

Suddenly, Gohan stopped.

His pupils tightened.

"No... it can't be."

A rift tore open above Earth's orbit. From it emerged a massive obsidian vessel etched with unknown runes pulsing with ki-darkness. The ship wasn't just moving—it radiated something far more sinister. Something ancient. Something hateful.

Within moments, a beam of pitch-black energy stabbed through the clouds and carved into the Earth's crust like a divine guillotine. Buildings vaporized. Forests howled. The Earth trembled.

He had returned.

Frieza.

But this was not the Frieza they had known.

As the ramp descended, he walked forth—calm, arrogant, terrifying.

His body shimmered in a form darker than Black Frieza. His skin a void-like obsidian, lined with faint crimson cracks that pulsed like veins. His eyes? Silver with black sclera, emotionless and regal.

"Earth," he announced, arms wide, "Did you really think I would allow you to bask in peace… forever?"

Behind him, a new army emerged. Not just foot soldiers, but bio-engineered elites, fused with remnants of ancient tyrant DNA. Reconstructed versions of past foes: Cell Prime, Frost Reborn, even a reconstructed Cold in a new Mecha-God form.

Miles away, Goten and Trunks stood frozen as they sensed the pressure. Their bodies trembled—not with fear, but the primal echo of something awakening.

Trunks: "This Ki… It's worse than Black Frieza. It's layered… like it's not just him anymore."

On Beerus' world, the God of Destruction stopped mid-sip of his drink.

Whis narrowed his eyes.

"This… isn't just Frieza anymore," Whis murmured. "Something—or someone—has helped him evolve."

Elsewhere, inside a collapsing dimension where Goku and Vegeta were training, King Kai's voice screamed into their minds.

"GOKU! VEGETA! HE'S BACK! GET OUT OF THERE—NOW!"

But it was too late.

Frieza raised his hand casually... and half of West City disappeared.

Blackness.

Silence.

War had returned.

To be continued...
