Piccolo stood atop Korin's Tower, staring out at the endless sky. A wind passed him—calm, but heavy. He sensed it too. Something had shifted… not on Earth, but beyond.
Down below, Pan trained vigorously with Gohan in the mountains, her small body brimming with energy. Her ki sparked wildly, mimicking her father's intensity.
"You're getting stronger, Pan," Gohan smiled. "But remember—power without focus is just noise."
Pan pouted. "But I wanna punch through a mountain like you!"
From afar, Broly sat in meditation on Beerus' Planet. His control had improved tremendously since their last clash. Whis watched curiously, a spoonful of parfait paused midair.
Suddenly, the staff of Whis shimmered.
"Oh?" Whis murmured, "Now that's... unusual."
He tapped his staff and a glowing ripple displayed a distant galaxy—dark, corrupted, collapsing in on itself. A flash of silver light—almost like Ultra Instinct—pierced the void before vanishing.
Beerus stirred from his nap, frowning. "What was that?"
Whis didn't respond. He just whispered, "Something... is waking."
Back on Earth...
At Capsule Corp, Bulma was checking energy signatures across the universe with her new scouter tech. Trunks entered the lab, looking distracted.
"Mom... have you ever heard of a realm outside time?"
Bulma blinked. "Why would you ask something like that?"
"I saw something," Trunks said, nervous. "Last night. A dream... but it felt real. Like a presence watching me—no, us."
Just then, Goku appeared beside them via Instant Transmission.
"Hey, Bulma! Got anything sweet?"
Trunks turned quickly. "Dad— I mean, Goku... have you ever heard of... the God of Time?"
Goku froze, smile fading.
He looked at Trunks seriously. "Who told you that name?"
Trunks hesitated. "I—I saw it. In a dream. A voice said: Tell the Warrior of Light... The True God watches."
Before Goku could answer, the sky above cracked—not physically, but spiritually. All of them felt it in their bones.
A voice—deep, emotionless, unfathomably ancient—rumbled through the clouds like thunder:
"The limit has been broken. The balance undone. Retribution begins."
Goku's eyes widened.
"…He found us."
